Nice unit but the tpd is not specified why not. ? I timed the on time and off time ,also calculated
the tpd and it is 1128 based on 47 turns when its on for 5 min and rest for 55 min.
It is too many tpd for most watches. No wonder its not given in the description..
The recommended tpd by the manufacturer is 650-800 tpd for my Omega. For most other watches
the recommended tpd is 650 tpd. Based on this this unit is useless overpriced junk ..

The piece itself has a beautiful finish and looks great in our bedroom. i put my first watch in and all worked well. super quite as advertised. i put my second watch in and hen noticed a ticking/clunking noise as the watch turned. i thought it might be the watch maybe it was heavier.. i switched the watches and the right turner made the same sound.. oh well, for the price it works and looks good, but ultra quite it is not.

I usually stay clear of items that don't have any reviews. I made an exception for this and i'm glad I did! We received this today (much faster than expected) and it was packaged very well. It is truly silent, the only thing we can hear is the watch itself but only when the lid is open and you are in a quite room listening for it. The reason I gave this 4 stars is because of the cushion you put your watch on. It is more difficult than i thought it would be to take out and put back in, which i guess is to make sure the watch doesn't move around when it is on. The main reason is the cushion is to large to my husbands watch, and when he takes the outer part off (that makes the cushion smaller) it is to small. We will certainly keep this and will look for something to replace the cushion.
