Cheryl Steele: I have not seen this mix in the store for some time, so I was ecstatic when I found it on Amazon and in a six pack no less! It got here quickly and I immediately made one. It took me back when I was little and my mom used to make it for me. The taste and texture was exactly like I remembered.

Honey🍯: I was very happy to find good old Jiffy yellow cake mix available here on Amazon at a reasonable price.
Jiffy mixes were once ubiquitous in most grocery stores, but nowadays all I can find is the cornbread mix.

Jiffy cake mix is just as good if not better than other boxed cake mixes. I remember not long ago when Jiffy mixes sold for a dollar a box.

This mix makes a cake half the size you find with a typical cake mix.
You can bake a round one-layer cake, or a thicker cake in a large bread pan. Add chocolate frosting and you have a delicious classic yellow cake for two.

The mix is also great combined with butter for an easy crumb topping on baked fruit desserts.
