Preston S.: i use jebao's dc pumps for the return pumps on my reef tanks, its affordable, quiet, and reliable. Don't get suckered into buying high dollar pumps jebao makes a great product I've used them for years.

Amazon Customer: I like to buy ‘used’ on Amazon if there is an option and significant savings.

1st ‘used’ one from the Amazon warehouse came with a 240v adapter. I’m like WTH, I’m in the US. Not sure why it got here in the states in the first place. (Returned)
2nd ‘used’ one from the Amazon warehouse, same as first one above (240v adapter!) (returned)
3rd one, I decided to get ‘new’ to avoid this 240v adapter issue. This one works perfect. Runs silent and I can control the flow based on my sump overflow needs (5 stars) (Kepted)
4th one - decided to buy another ‘new’ one but this one came with a p4 error right out the box. It’s either the controller or impeller not working issue. I swapped the controller with my existing working one (my 3rd one above) and found it was the new pump not working (returned)

So I love jebao (I have a few of their equipment such as older wp-60) and when it works, it’s flawless. But when it doesn’t, see above.

AllanAllan: Comes way ahead of expected delivery date, size is surprisingly small, similar to a Sicce 1.5 but way more stronger and dead silent, well worth the money!

Jimmy Cabrio: I am using this pump to supply flow to my Pentair UV sterilizer, so it is not my primary pump for my reef aquarium though the return is in the display aquarium. The pump is very quiet, and I have had no performance issues since purchasing it. Selection of the speed works well, but the range of flow is not what I had hoped for. That is, I was not able to slow the flow sufficiently using the controller settings alone. It was necessary to add a ball valve to further reduce the flow to about 150GPH.

Nan: This is my first time with this exact pump. My son, who is experienced with salt water tanks, installed it for me. I had forgotten the old pump and this one as well need to be cleaned several times a year. (needless to say this caused the old pump to under perform) This pump has a controller that lets me adjust the flow electronically and also has a FEED button that stops the flow for 10 min while the fish feed. I've only had a week but so far I'm happy

Miken: Love this pump so far! The first one that arrived with a previously opened box, I notified the seller and they sent a new pump immediately. The pump has only been running for about a month but I love it so far. Great flow! The feeder mode is perfect for water changes. Running it on a sump with about a 4 foot lift, no issues as of today. Definitely recommend!

So it’s been about a year and I’m cautious to write this review because I don’t want to jinx myself however I gotta say this pump has been awesome!! Runs 24/7 except during water changes where the feed mode is extremely useful. I never returned the original pump that was sent in an open box, I just paid for it and keep it as a backup. (Hopefully it works as well as the one I have running) All in all, I absolutely recommend this pump! It’s a work horse and it’s completely silent.
