pangue: Good in its day, I don’t think that it will hold on the classics shelf like duck hunt.

Kalen Anderson: Great game! A very engaging re-imagined version of the N64 version. Some of the missions are a little short but still very fun. The music was a little disappointing especially compared to Quantum of Solace for the Wii where there was more of the traditional Bond music. All in all, great game!

mlock: Game arrived in good shape and plays with no issues. Just needed to do a quick clean with lint free cloth before loading disc.

saladdin: Fantastic game. Did not expect such a quality fps generally, let alone for the Wii. The game has definitely grown through leaps and bounds from the N64 original, adding actual melee takedowns, realistic guns and reloading, great graphics and more immersive levels and gameplay. While this game may not be anything "new" to people who are used to CoD or Halo, Goldeneye 007 Wii is *the* fps for the Wii, and as such lives up to the title.
Mission mode is greatly enhanced. There are elaborate and difficult goals, labyrinth and interactive levels, if you find yourself surrounded by a few too many bad guys, glance around for vents; chances are you can get the "drop" on them (pun intended). Seriously though, there are vents everywhere.
A few qualms: no multiplayer co-op for the missions (but I guess that makes sense since it is Bond going at it alone) and no local muliplayer online (i.e. you can't play two "local" people on the same Wii online). That said the online games are great.
Actually, just a little bit more on multiplayer: this is probably the most advanced part of the game. There are tons of weapons that you can switch on the fly (no need to restart the game...

Dziga Vertov: I almost want to say that to really appreciate this game, you need to have played the original GoldenEye for N64. In other words, I do have some bias because that was a pretty landmark fps game, and I found it a highlight during my college years.
Jump ahead a decade and a half, and fps have come a long way, so this won't stand out like it used to.
There are a lot of great fps games for the various systems, but this is the best by far for the Wii. There are some great customizable controls with the wiimote, which is the preferred method of choice by many expert users. However, it's not as confusing to customize as say on the game "Conduit", which is not as good as Goldeneye. It lets you control what you need. I purchased a classic controller pro to use for this game, and it's great, although as good of a controller as on the PS3, but it's cheap. The best players with the wiimote are better than the best with the classic controller. I can choose from a selection of various controller button options, but I can't customize each button. I wish I could, but I understand they are catering to people who want to get into the game quickly, and the options they have are some of...
