John S.: This radio is really nice, it has good reception, and all the functions work well. It's bigger than others I shopped for, making it ideal for me. Also, the greatest advantage is that the 18650 battery is replaceable and not "built-in". With the battery fully charged I played the radio for 8hrs straight and found that there was little drain the battery making it exceptional. It has only one speaker, which is my only complaint, and the volume can get loud. Being a solar/hand crank radio it's great to have on hand for emergencies and so far it has been reliable.

Bluethumb: I ordered two different emergency radios to complement what seemed to be lacking in either. And, at first, I thought about doing this review with Pro and Con, like that the function selector works great but you have to get used to know which function you are selecting or that the radio selectivity takes just the touch. BUT, truth is that we selected this one for emergency features--because it had ALERT weather monitoring that sounds a siren tone when a tornado warning is issued, or a flood warning, or high winds, or severe thunderstorms and so on. I have not tried cranking to charge because I have a 100W solar array which is busy all day storing 0.5 kW hours in a deep cycle battery that charges all the radios and flashlights. I read that the built-in solar function takes nearly all day. We have not needed to try the alternate charging this one is designed for. It has a very functional reading light. For an emergency radio the sound is quite good. I have not tried the music player feature either. Maybe I'll order a few memory sticks to copy different genres to please our listeners. Holding that thought is what this radio is all about--It will help light up your world, charge a...

jkeltika: Delivery was fast and efficiently. The works well!
Tired of batteries on my old radio works well Just a couple of turns, it’s all charged up ready to use. The radio works well and I have my music stored in the flash drive.
I would prefer it come in different colours.
Other than that it’s a good radio for the price

BellaD: This is a nice looking little radio with great features. Sound quality is ok. The SD card feature that plays MP3s is nice.
But the build quality really lets it down. I've owned 2 of these units and both had the same issues.
With the first one it didn't take long at all for the antenna and knobs to break off. Eventually the USB charger port also broke off. With the second unit the USB charger port broke off again quickly despite taking care to avoid happening, such as keeping the cord plugged into the port. Very disappointing.
The internal battery could be externally charged but due to the unusual size/type you'd have to buy a new charger for it which wasn't worth the trouble for me. Will still continue to use with 3 AA batteries or hand crank charge.
This radio is overpriced for the quality you get.
*One star for the radio unit itself but an extra star for the seller who was very responsive regarding my dissatisfaction.

John Simpson: From a design standpoint this little radio is great. Of course it's not indestructible, it's meant to be affordable and functional in an emergency, not a daily field abused main radio set.
The internal rechargeable cell (removeable) appears to be the same unit used in many common vaporizors (ecigs, 18650), which are typically priced at the same cost as what the radio was bought for.
Considering how little it costs, it has a ridiculously wide capability. I deliberately discharged the battery until inoperable and crank charged it for a mere 15 seconds, and watched as the led lamp operated for almost an hour as I read my book by it.
Again. For the price, it's perfect as an emergency radio, emergency lamp, flashlight, and emergency low voltage power source.

Stephanie SullivanStephanie Sullivan: This is a pretty nice emergency radio from a functional standpoint. It give me an impression it's cheaply made but that may be misleading. Everything I tried worked fine. AM, FM and Weather Radio Worked fine and came in clearly. Both flashlight and the reading light worked fine.
The solar charging option seems to work VERY slowly even in clear sky direct sunlight. No surprise with such a tiny set of cells! The hand crank charger works better but any significant charge could take a lot of cranking. The micro USB charging port is the only option that really makes sense to me for charging. There is no charge level indication. If you want some extra security the 3 AA cells will run the radio and lights for a good while.
Here is what I like:
+ The AM/FM/Weather radio come in quite clear
+ Sound quality is better than I expected
+ The multiple charging options all seem to work
+ Can run of 3 AA batteries (not required)
+ The flashlight and reading light work better than I expected
+ The handle is actually pretty useful
+ Ability to charge a USB chargeable device
What I don't like so much:
- Feels kind of cheaply made
- Solar charging does...

Michael Knight: I have to say this is a great radio with the right features. I use it for fishing and camping mostly, and it has made every trip better. I love how the radio picks up channels very clearly. With the weather radio channels I can always find my local weather as well. The built in lights work great and I use them often, especially the one with multiple led's on the right side. It's great for lighting up a big area, or use it as a work light. I keep a spare battery charged for mine, so all I have to do is switch it out and go on my next trip..( I bought an extra 18650 3.7 volt battery and charger). I have not needed to use the crank or solar power charger as of yet, because the battery lasts a long time. Overall I give it 5 stars, and I believe it's well worth the price!

David Taylor: The media could not be loaded. Quite pleased! Has a lot of features and at a great price. I like the fact that it has a rechargeable battery that you can charge from a micro USB port, the crank works, so does the solar, and a real plus is being able to run it on AA batteries.
The radio works on all bands. Sounds good! The sound is not as good as a Bose, but quite nice. I haven't tried the Micro SD card yet for added music. Again, a really nice extra feature for this price point.
Other features:
The main flashlight is bright.
The secondary light does a nice job for reading. There are times in an emergency or camping where you actually want to read something.
It has a pretty loud siren sound.
Finally, it can charge your phone and other devices that use USB.
You know, if it had blonde hair I might ask it to marry me:)
