Sarah Zgraggen: Bought several of these as Christmas gifts. Great price, and works well. Perfect to have onhand in case the power goes out or for the cottage or camping. Gives peace of mind in case of power outage...

Seaspray: Works well and is very good for emergencies, sound not the greatest but reception is very good, able to receive both the local weather service station and as well the US weather service station in Vermont, over 80 miles away. Watch out pushing the SOS button as it is very loud! Charges up in the window so always ready to work.

Swiftview: Features: Internal 10000mAh power bank, Solar panel/ hand crank for charging the power bank and usb devices through the usb output, a micro usb input for charging the Internal power bank from an external power source, a radio with WB,FM,AM, dials for volume and tuning, charging and tuning indicator lights, tuning frequency screen to show current selected radio frequency range, bright light with power button, load speaker, carry string, and portable size.

Likes: Charges usb devices fast, Easy to crank, Solar panel works to charge too, Large Internal battery, Good - tunable - WB,FM,AM Radio, Good speaker, Light is bright.

Dislikes: The dials on the radio are stiff (don't move easy), Solar panel can be covered while using the hand crank (No extra grip point).

It can charge high-capacity phone batteries within a couple hours even while the phone is on, using just the hand-crank, and even quicker with the solar panel also being charged in the sunlight. The radio picks up signals well and has a usable sound quality/volume. The light is bright and can be used for a long time with a few cranks (5min with 20 cranks). Charged a 3100mAh battery by 10 percent in about 20...

Debbie Trent: Found this little solar/crank light/radio on amazon and thought it would be a great thing to have during a power failure. Living in Florida, hurricanes are a part of our reality. This little powerhouse greatly exceeded my expectations. I left it in the sun to charge for a day and was surprised at the brightness of the flashlight, it is equal to lights that need batteries (that I never seem to have on hand). As soon as I flipped the radio on to the weather band, the announcer came on loud and clear. The AM and FM work fine too, but when storms are coming in the weather band is most important to me. The crank charger is easy to turn and stores away perfectly and as an added bonus it even has a charger port and a cord included to charge your cell phone! All of these options in a tiny size that is easy to store, and at a great price too! Love it! This is one of my favorite purchases.

YammoYammo: So bought one like this before and it was obviously a piece of crap novelty toy that wouldn't hold a charge and charged sloooow as all hell on the crank. I expected similar from this and since the other would be dead after a day or so on a full charge I expected this to do the same. Got this one and I let it drain till it was dead with the flashlight then tested the crank from dead and after a few cranks you could already hear the radio. The other one I bought was so bad I didn't expect this at all, you would have to crank a ton and barely got like a min of radio. This one there is minimal cranking to make it an effective radio. As for battery retention, I just pulled it out of my bugout bag after sitting in the closet for a 15 months (without light so didn't charge through the solar panel). I thought no doubtedly it will be dead but shockingly the light and radio still worked fine and the low battery indicator wasn't even lit. Not only that but it still would charge my phone with the supplied cables plus a separate lightning cable at 5 Volts .3 Amps which isn't very fast but it'll get your phone back on in an emergency. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that the radio charges...

Robert: Very nice high tech device
.Radio and all bands come in very good I was even able to listen to this radio while driving my truck in the desert southwest with descent reception. Considering how compact this unit is it sounds pretty good. Hand crank is not hard at all to use and gives it a descent charge for 1-5 minutes of cranking. It's also sturdy and well made you can tell that when you crank it The solar charge works good but takes the longest to charge, but just put in a well lit area and it works.I used the USB port to charge it and it took a little over 1 hour to fully charge It. The charge will last up to about 8 hours of radio play..For me I thought the Flash light was awesome it gave good light for at least 50 yards in the desert, it does have a halo effect but will make it much easier for an oncoming car to pick you up if you are walking down a road at night.Great for the glove box or in the house.

JimBob: Just got this unit and I'm going to keep it. It seems well built and works as advertised.

It is slightly larger than I had imagined it would be from the pictures, but had I paid closer attention to the published dimensions I would not have been surprised. My fault not theirs.

I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, my only complaint is that they don't really discuss the "cord" situation in the manual and I find the design a bit odd. Charging the radio via USB is no big deal there is an included cord that is male USB to male mini-USB which plugs into a female mini-USB on the back of the unit.... so far so good.

BUT to CHARGE a device FROM the flashlight you have to use an adapter that has a coax - pin on one end that is inserted into a cylindrical hole on the end of the unit - the other end of the adapter is a standard female USB plug. This is OK but I wonder why they could not have just installed a female USB plug in the back of the unit? Now I have to keep track of the adapter and make sure it's always with the radio. If I'm missing something and this adapter is required for some reason, it would have been nice if there was a way to store the adapter on the...
