replacing the old one was pretty easy and this fit correctly, charged, and worked as expected. I bought the roomba brand because I didn't want to take fire risks with a generic battery. The cost was high. Sad I had to pay this to keep my Roomba working, but the replacement battery itself was good.

Our Roomba 690 (Molly) we purchased 4 1/2 years ago was getting old and only functioning for about 45 minutes and then just stop. We bought a new Roomba (Lurch) for the first floor and sent our old Roomba to the second floor. I recently bought the Roomba OEM battery and it increased the service time to 1 1/2 hours and it always goes back to it's base to charge. The battery is expensive, around $85.00, but worth it and easy to install.

J’étais septique au début je ne trouvais pas qu’elle durait longtemps. Mais après quelques tour de mains on c’est comme si elle s’est mise à fonctionné de son plein potentiel. Je me dis que p-e que le fait que la machine avait été comme reprogrammé avec un changement de batterie le gps faisait p-e plus travailler la machine afin qu’elle puisse connaître son parcourt. Mais en tout cas je suis vraiment satisfaite.

Purchased this to replace my original battery. Before I installed this new battery, my 28 month-old Roomba was only lasting 50 minutes, and could not finish the entire house in one pass. After install, over the past 8 weeks it is always able to finish the entire house once again (between 70 and 80 minutes) without having to recharge. My ONLY complaint is this battery is EXPENSIVE.

The amp hrs are correct to original specs. I expect to have the same performance as the original. So far I have not been disappointed.

Nuestra Roomba 690 dejó cargar con un error 8 justo al año de su compra, decidimos comprar una batería nueva pero desde la página de iRobot MX ya no venden la batería para éste modelo. Lo difícil fue hallar para 690, ya que varias baterías de la serie 600 especificaban por el vendedor que no eran compatibles para 690. Así que encontramos esta que marcaba distribuidor oficial de iRobot y soportaba 690. Cuando llegó la sacamos del paquete y se miraba exactamente igual a la batería que ya no servía, mismo modelo, mismos 1800mA y 14.4V.
La pusimos a cargar y notamos que ya no marcaba error 8. Cargó completamente y hasta ahora lleva 4 ciclos de limpieza en donde nuestra Roomba limpia como si estuviera nueva. Es justo lo que buscábamos.
Actualizaremos este comentario si notamos que antes del año deja de funcionar.
