KL: The battery was 7 months old and would only run for 30 min. before needing to be charged.
The company contacted me and sent me a new battery. The new one runs for 1hour 45 min before needing a charge. This is a big improvement. I can now say that I recommend this battery!

Amazon Customer: Hi guys, I purchased this battery in May 22 and now in July of 2023 it is not holding a charge. So, I will consider getting a little more reliable battery that I got before. That other one lasted from mid 2018 to May 2022, so, almost 4 years. Considering that more expensive and more reliable battery costs just 35% more it is no brainier which is a better choice.
2023-07-28 Update, seller reached out to me and promptly sent a new battery.

This is my third time getting this battery, I was satisfied with the first two, both lasted about 2 years.
This 3rd battery however doesn’t work well.
It runs for about 30 minutes after a full charge, and that is when it does charge… the main problem is the “Error 1” I get when the roomba docks in the charger, this is my first time seeing this error and haven’t been able to fix it despite several attempts of removing the battery and installing it again.
This battery used to be good, but I will get a different one next time.

UPDATE
1 or 2 days after writing the review I received an email from the seller asking for information about my roomba model, the battery batch number and asking to troubleshoot a possible contact issue.
They were spot on, after reading a few more reviews I find out that the problem is that the battery I got has a slightly different design of the battery terminals, after fiddling with it for a little while and trimming material with a utility knife the battery is working normally.
Battery performance seems correct.

Mr Ed: Functions correctly in a slightly older Roomba. Not sure if the battery life is as good as the original branded version but it seems close and is way better value for money. The replacement brushes are a further bonus. Happy with the product
