L. B.: My old Roomba 650 needed a new battery (the display kept flashing orange and beeping), and this replacement battery was far cheaper that ordering from the iRobot web site. I inserting the battery and put the Roomba in the docking station and it happily charged. There appeared to be some level of charge already in the battery but I didn't try to figure out how much.

The Contemplative Man: Our Roomba 770, which we love, is 7/8 years old and kept returning to dock/recharge after a minute or so and it was a question of whether to spend (and possibly waste) £25 and try a new battery first or simply buy a new cleaner.
I took the first option.
The battery was easy to fit, needed fully charging before the first use, and best of all it worked like a dream.
Better suction (the dust container was cram full) and the cleaner did the whole ground floor (largish house with carpets throughout) before returning to dock and recharging.
It is only two weeks since fitting but it looks a good option and we do not need a new cleaner.
Very pleased - and the battery was delivered promptly!

Bernd L.: Ich habe noch einen alten Roomba 780 der nun 12 Jahre alt ist.
Habe zwar vor 5 Jahren schon einmal einen neuen Originalakku getauscht, es nun aber mit diesem versucht. Was soll ich sagen? Er läuft wieder wie am ersten Tag.
Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nicht viel sagen, jedoch habe ich damals für den originalen Akku ca 90€ bezahlt und wollte einfach mal einen preiswerteren Akku ausprobieren. Er passt und saugt genauso lange wie beim Originalakku.

Mad Cat Lady: At last, my roomba is back to amazing me every day with the level of filth in this house (caused by my four cats, nothing to do with me of course). The only time the roomba hasn’t found it’s way back to its charger and the battery gave out was when it pushed something in front of the docking station and it couldn’t dock. I think it had run for about 4 hours. Is that even possible?
Anyway, I bought this particular battery off the strength of other reviews, so I’m adding to the positives. Worth the money.
