Rodman: I've been on the keto diet for a while, and if you have, you know how sick and tired you get of all things keto, after a while...this cake and icing go a LONG way towards making your week kinder and sweeter! One of my boys prepared this for me, and even measured out the amount of icing that he used on each cupcake, in order to calculate the macros correctly, and I enjoyed these for over a week. (Yes, they keep really well, too, better than "regular" cake!) Good flavor, nice texture, plenty moist, and the frosting is wonderful! Highly recommend this product. You CAN have dessert for lunch, and it CAN be keto! <3 Two thumbs up!

Adam Byram: We used the cake mix to make 12 cupcakes. That worked perfectly. They came out pretty much spot on what you’d expect from a non-keto vanilla cupcake mix. My wife doesn’t generally eat keto/low carb foods and she said the cake itself was just as good as a regular cake mix to her as well.
The icing is another story. If you don’t like the erythritol cooling you get with some keto products, you should skip the icing. It’s very, very heavy on the erythritol. My wife didn’t like the icing at all - so much so that she didn’t even try to finish a single frosted cupcake. If you’re OK with the strong erythritol effect, the taste is just OK. It tastes like you’re eating flavored oil (because you are). It has a bit of a weird aftertaste. For me, it was edible, but I wouldn’t buy it again. After you open the icing, you need to refrigerate it. When the icing cools, it becomes rock hard. You have to heat it up again in order to spread it. If you’ve frosted a cupcake and put it in the fridge, you’re going to need to let it come to room temp as well if you expect to be able to eat the icing.

B. Curry: The cake mix is good. Not the texture of a full regular cake mix but way better texture than most almond flour recipes I've tried. The flavor is good. Sweet but not overly. After I scaped off that horrid frosting I topped it with sugar free whipped cream and it was pretty darn good.
The frosting is not worth the money. There is the tiniest bit of chocolate flavor but that is pretty much wiped out by the stevia aftertaste. I added 1/4 cup cocoa powder and about a teaspoon of allulose to try and improve the flavor and aftertaste. The allulose did get rid of the aftertaste but even that much cocoa powder just gave an ok chocolate flavor. And if you are going to have to add ingredients and whip it etc., you might as well make your own from scratch. It certainly couldn't be worse than this. WAY too expensive for what you get. I'll give it 1 star as it did have a nice consistency and felt like frosting on my tongue.
