Lisa McInnes - Nelson: I found it hard to find white door stops that looked half ok. I purchased these even though
I knew the postage was going to take some time to get here. The rubber ends are cream and not white which in a white bathroom stand out. I ended up taking the rubber ends off and spraying them white so they matched the metal rod. So all in all they work for the space, were easy to install however it would have been nice to have them be all the one white colour.

David Mortaz: Got a 10 pack of these with White Tips and Silver Finish. The spring portion appears strong but flexible. I like the feel and the finish of the Silver spring. And the design of the base makes the installation simple where the open end of the Spring easily rolls into the base.

There is a good reason the product is Recommended! Each one of these are close to $3 dollars at Home Depot and after spotting this Item, I returned mine.

Steve C.Steve C.: Purchased from Ubiquitty while fulfilled via Amazon. It comes in a cardboard box with all ten spring door stops individually packed in its own tiny plastic bag and then the overall plastic bag for the lot. Presentation aka first impression is good.

Was a little concerned upon initial inspection, since I could not find any fastener to secure the door stop. Once I shook the door stop and heard loose metal sound, I figured out that the fastener is hidden behind the back plate that just needed to be removed/turned to reveal the inside. The provided Phillips screw did fine grabbing baseboard/drywall. I did pre-drilling to be safe. The entire installation took merely minutes at most from marking the back plate with pencil to connecting the spring door stop to the screwed-down back plate.

The material is solid and the tip is covered with hard rubber, so it should hold up just fine. At twice the amount of door stops versus big box store for similar price, this is a great bargain. I ultimately went with spring door stop, since the hinge pin style put a hole in the door once the rubber piece went missing.

Unlucky Frank: I just bought a house in Vegas that had about 15 of these & almost half of them that were missing the tips. There are new homes all over Vegas & these doorstops are ubiquitous. They're everywhere and the stores can't keep them in stock. I was going to purchase new ones at Walmart but they only had 2 left in stock & they were a little more expensive. These are identical in size to the standard ones in the big box stores. So all I had to do was unscrew the old ones from the bases & screw in these new ones. Took about 10 minutes to replace all the ones with the mssing tips. And I still have a few extras. Someone else mentioned in their review, the screws for the bases are hidden inside the springs. Just unscrew the bases from the springs and the screws will fall out. The bases are a breeze to mount to the baseboards. Then you just screw in the springs. Simple install. Just make sure you mark on the baseboards with a pencil where they will hit the door. The numbskull that installed the ones in my house was off on a couple of them & I had to remount the bases.

At about a dollar apiece, you can't go wrong. Great value!
