ashain: This 8 pack x 2, and several other items were purchased in the same shine, patina, and style for a homogenous modern and clean look updating an apartment which was rented. These door stops work and the door handles are prevented from marking or worst denting and damaging the wall the handle would hit if lacking door stops.

NOTE: take the rubber tip off and use a flat head screw driver to screw into base board, then replace rubber tip.
