Ellen D.Ellen D.: Oh my goodness, it is so adorable & EXACTLY as described and just as pictured! Just moved into my new home and my bedroom door does not stay open. And I find the regular rubber door stops were frustrating because they would not slip in & out easily when I need to close my door because of the carpeting.. so then opening and closing the door was seriously driving me crazy.. Then I saw this adorable kitty cat door stop, and I just had to get it.. I'm so glad I did .. VT Foodie: My bathroom door swings open against my bedroom closet and my floor is carpeted. I keep my bathroom door open. When I stood at my closet selecting clothes, I'd have to push the bathroom door somewhat closed to be out of the way, and then the door would slooowly swing back open and the door handle would slam into the small of my back. Each time. Slowly enough that I would forget about it, until - slam. No longer a spring chicken, I've worried that at some point I'd startle into a fall.
I've researched all the devices to control the door and due to circumstances I describe none would have worked. The minute I saw these cute guys I hoped they would be a genius solution.
My carpeted floor adds stability. I picked the owl because of his rounded body. He's properly heavy. The door now sits part way open and Mr. Owl never knocks over. And every time I look at him, he puts a smile on my face.

JS: I needed a door stop to keep my office door open, the one I did have attached to the wall was removed when our offices were updated. Anyway, I thought it was cute and its little bow tie made me smile. My office door is a tad too heavy for this little guy so now he sits on a small side table in my office and just adds to the ambiance. If I needed a doorstop at home though, now I’ve got one. It’s a cat! Cats are the greatest! My cat will be happy when I bring it back home; she likes to tackle it and then kick it. He has no scratches on him, so the material is very durable.
