D. McLaughlinD. McLaughlin: I like this hub but I’m concerned that the heat it generates will shorten its life. I also wish the cable to the computer was longer so it could sit further back on my desk. Otherwise it works great.
6 MONTH UPDATE: The HDMI output to my monitor is starting to fail. Despite a cable change the HDMI port has a poor connection and my monitor flickers and sometimes goes out until I reseat the cable. Only things regularly connected to this are a monitor, RJ45 internet and the computer itself. Still hot all the time. Failure is expected.

Amazon Customer: First thing to know is that this item has high build quality and will look like it belongs with your expensive laptop. All the ports work great as expected.
Downsides are its' a little bulkier than I'd like. However this might be my fault - the manufacturer has many models and I could have chosen a less bulky one.
Second downside is that it gets very warm, even when not in active use. I don't really like this. Overall, pretty good though.

Amazon Customer: Easy to use and works with all ports. It is just slower moving files, but no slower than a direct move. IPads are just slow that way. I’m just glad I can now move files around.

Punit Gor: All features work well. Plug & Play. Good quality build. Good speeds.
* However, Xiaomi MiTV 4X Pro 55" 2018 was not able to get a 4K stream from the M1 MacBook Air via this hub. It does output 2K on an LG QHD monitor though. Haven't tested on any other 4K display yet.

PhainePhaine: On a daily basis, I use one of the ports to charge my MacBook (it has a USB-C pass-through) with the ethernet and additional accessories plugged in and everything works as it should. The adapter does get warm if it is in use for a while, but I think that's to be expected. The adapter works with both my MacBook Pro and Ipad Pro and the gigabit ethernet port is fast and reliable. The only negative is that the build quality could have been better for this price point.

AKA (H/H): My HyperDrive review
I had this for about 2 weeks now. I had problems at first but after that was fixed, everything worked every single time. Here’s my review.
Delivery
Like: Delivery arrived 1 day early.
Packaging
Dis/like: The Amazon Cardboard +A4 size envelope was slightly damaged but luckily the seal are still intact and the cardboard envelope is tough. Damage may be caused when it was pushed through the mail box, as the envelope is folded on one side. All stamps, barcodes, delivery information, recipient infomation are 100% intact, visible and readable.
Like: HyperDrive Box packaging is well design and made. It seems to protect the device completely.
Design of HyperDrive
Like: Smooth. Nice shape. Metallic finish... nice!
Portability
Like: Portable Size & light.
Protective Casing or Pouch
Dislike: no accompanying protective cases. Would be nice if it came with one.
It Works with ‘iPad Pro 11in 2018’
I plugged all these together:
Mouse, keyboard and flash drive to HyperDrive USB-A Ports.
MicroSD and SD to MicroSD/SD drives.
Earphone to 3.5mm Audio Jack.
USB-C iPad charger to the...

Robert Yunk: The first time I had seen any of the Hyperdrive Hub Adaptors was a fews months ago when I sat-in on a presentation where the presenter had one. His was a slightly different model and he had fewer USB ports on his laptop than I do. I thought, "Well it's neat but I don't need one".
Fast-forward. Start new job, issued laptop, "What? This thing has only 2 USB ports. What again?? This thing doesn't have an ethernet port!!"
Well, this device was the perfect solution. Build quality is very good, even though it is light as a feather. This model has an ethernet port built in so networking without WiFi is solved.
Small, light, well built and it just works!

Hal F. White: After putting off getting the real thing I finally broke down after some issues with cheap knockoffs. Must say Rock solid and totally worth the price of admission.
I paired this with a 60W power supply and had Zero issues with this and a Berringer USB Audio device through a 9 hour concert . Will use again with
my streaming rig (my iPad Pro 2018) Don't get a knockoff you will regret it. I did not see any heat issues (and trust me at 50 Degrees it would have been
nice to have something warm to hold onto. Great piece of Kit totally recommend.

Tatou: The 9 in 1 adapter works as promised. The only improvement I could make would be to include a thunderbolt port. I had to buy a separate thunderbolt usb-c adapter for my sound system.
