leeann: An interesting set of characters, some from the previous books. More attention on the healers in this one, with interesting developments and ideas. Love, loyalty and finding one's path in life. Couldn't read fast enough to see what happened.

Kathy: Action packed, deep characters, love, honor, disreputable scoundrels, healing, strong clans, families, children and animals. Keira always makes her stories come alive. I can never put one down until I've read it cover to cover This story is one of her very best series and I've read them all. Looking forward to the next one.

Colleen: I love all these book in series about the Grant/Ramsay Family. This book is full of intrigue, excitement, Romance with just a touch of spice. It is a real page turner and kept me guessing to the HEA ending. Can’t wait to start next book in this series. These books best to read In Order. I highly recommend this, as well as all books by Ms. Montclair. You will love all the characters in this family and others. They always have awesome characters and very evil villains.

Pauline: First off, it took me a little longer to read this book. Due to my Daughter’s wedding. I usually devour this author’s books in a day or two. Patraig is someone you hear about in the background in most of the other books. There’s talk about him being very handsome. but nothing else. Finally, we get to hear all about Patrick. He’s a little different than his other warrior cousins, he likes to roam and travel.
Gisela is beautiful and devoted to her niece and nephew who she had to care for when their mother passed away. She is promised to a lunatic. She doesn’t longer want to marry him. She has feelings for Patraig, but is not sure if he is truly the one
I loved hearing about Patraig and his relationship with his parents. I love reading all about the Grants any chance I can get. I love that this a story takes off right after book 2. This book was a thrill to read. it was intriguing, it has a villain. there is a journey that they must go through before they find out how they really feel about each other. Everything you could want for a book. I highly recommend this book.If you haven’t read the first two books, I do recommend you read them first. A new family...
