Pierre CONSTANTIN: J'ai acheté deux aimants pour fixer une tête de lit (sorte de cadre très long - 3,60 m) pour qu'elle reste amovible.
L'annonce est cependant trompeuse. On annonce deux pièces alors qu'il n'y en a qu'une composée de deux éléments. La photo de l'article montre bien deux systèmes. C'est un peu regrettable... Pour autant, la puissance magnétique de l'ensemble permet de très nombreux types d'assemblage à mon plus grand plaisir.
Si vous avez besoin d'idées en dehors des portes de placards...
Maintenant que je comprends (ou non) le contenu de l'annonce, je vais en acquérir deux ou trois de plus.

My cats a little bengal and ingenious in her ways of breaking into things but not with this magnet. She may be strong but not this strong haha

LP: Strong Magnet, great value, I was using a bungee cord to close my porch door...I applied two magnets to close our porch door...fingers crossed and was very happy that it keeps the door closed snuggly. I only wish I purchased this sooner...it works wonderfully a great value

B. Hampton: This product does exactly what it says it does. Powerful magnets that will easily hold a latchless door (French door) closed. It's sturdily made, and it's pretty easy to install.

One caveat, don't bother with the screws that are included. They are too light and will come loose or break over time. Do it right the first time and buy a 3/4" screw for the non-magnetic plate (that attaches to the door) and a 1" or 1 1/4" screw for the frame magnetic bracket. The installation will be much easier, and you won't have to replace it 6 months from now when one of the included screws eventually fails.

Great product! Included hardware should be discarded.

ShaneShane: Worked really well for our pantry and closet doors. We had those stupid little ball catches in the top of the door. I was always having to adjust them so that they would hold the door shut. Seems like they were always too tight or too loose. These magnets work really good. I just filled in the holes with wood filler in the top of the door jam. Then sanded and painted. Installed the Magnets and plates on the door. Really simple fix.
Installing the magnets was fairly easy. The only problem I was having is that the screws would be drawn towards the magnet when trying to screw them in. Be sure to line up the plate with the magnet just right. If the screws on the plate aren't on the outside of the magnet it doesn't seem to catch as well.
