Snow: Super strong. I attached one at the top of the door and another one at the bottom, but it was so strong till I took one of them off and just used one to keep the door close.

Peter: The only minor issue i have with the product is that the pictures seemed to indicate that the magnet and steel were both fairly thin but actually the magnet is about half an inch across. I had previously used very thin velcro strips and i was trying to replace them with this product, and that plan fell apart when I saw this part. The steel plate the magnet attaches to is very thin, maybe a sixteenth. So this affects how and where you can install it. But that's normal when you're making things, I am happy with my purchase, still gave a five star review. Note, from one of the questions I was afraid it would take a lot of effort to open this cabinet however it really was not that strong. Granted I was forced to install the magnet at an angle so it is not at its max magnetic power but honestly it doesn't seem abnormally strong for a magnet. Works great and I ended up using only one of the magnetic latches for now. Thanks I love it.

Kyle Killman: The counter sync on the metal plate do not match the screws so they stick out slightly. This isn't a big deal as if you install it right the screws will be on either side of the magnet. The magnet is definitely not 60lbs but it is more than strong enough for keeping my cats out of the pantry. As long as you know the screws won't counter sync all the way and expect more like 30lbs of magnetic locking strength the product is great.
