Catherine: The suction grip on the bathroom tile is useless. I installed it around 7pm around 8:30 I'm in bed and me and my dog heard this thump, my dog started barking like crazy, I jumped out of bed, my dog ran toward the bathroom but I went the opposite way, (not following my dog's senses), searching for the sound. So eventually after searching the rest of the house and could not find anyone or anything, I decided to go where my dog had stayed put, (silly me eh?), when I looked in the bathroom in the tub, there was the device, I picked it up and tried to release it to reapply it to the wall, the devise clip would not open, I was now getting afraid that I may break it, after struggling to open it, I was now frustrated and didn't care if I broke it so I gave it a firm solid mad grab pull-back and it snapped open. I placed it on the wall again and then it would not snap back to close the grip. I had to forced it down with my body weight for it to snap close, and folks, would you know that, within less than 5 minutes, it fell off the wall again. I reinstall a second time, and it fell again. Right now it is not on the wall as it will not stay suctioned to the tile.

J KiernanJ Kiernan: Bought this August 1. Read instructions and installed on cleaned and alcohol-scrubbed Faux marble shower stall. Tested its suction daily for about a week, just giving it a tug. Seemed sturdy. Used it a couple of times, for balance. Bought it for my husband who is disabled. Luckily he never used it because when I checked at about 10 days, it seemed to have less suction. so removed it and reinstalled it as directions said and as before. I day later it just fell off the wall and broke into pieces on the shower stall floor. Sent foto and request to customer service email, asking if it could be fixed and how. No response after 2 weeks. Yes, I did check my spam box. Had already recycled the carton and packaging for a return, so hence I will toss the remnants and give it a 1 star rating.. Please don't waste your money.

M. R. Walters: My Mom-in-Law was getting out of rehab after a fall, and Sis said this was the grab bar to order. Naturally, Mom couldn't wait the 2 days to get the package, so Sis went to Lowe's and picked up a similar grab bar. After this one arrived, Mom told Sis to "take that other one back; it's not as nice". Her words, folks.

murrie56: I have a walk in fiberglass shower with no support bars. I was very sceptical about buying this! But, this was a great solution! I was in extreme pain b4 having hip surgery, and was terrified I was going to slip & fall with no one to help me. It has super suction power. I haven't tried to pull on it with much force , as it does say it's for support. But it seems sturdy. And, it gave me peace of mind before and now after my replacement surgery. Would definitely buy again!
