West Coast Customer: Love the 3-setting flashlight, the lamp, which are quite bright as well as the dual tip cell phone charger for either apple or android. The crank is easy to use and provides lots of radio time and the solar panel is another good feature. Really this radio has it all. Unfortunately it does not pull in CBC but no matter, it does pull in a number of other stations such as CKNW which would be fine in an emergency of for camping. Generally happy with purchase.

Cristina Saemy: I AM SO IMPRESSED, ORDERED IT YESTERDAY AND RECEIVED IT TODAY. I LIKE THE PRICE AND HAD THE BEST RATING ABOVE ALL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GREAT EMERGENCY RADIO, BECAUSE IT IS SO WELL MADE & IT SEEMS PRETTY STURDY, HAS A GREAT SOUND, THE LIGHTS WORK PERFECTLY, THE SOS ALARM IS A PLUS. THE AM DOES NOT CATCH MUCH BUT THAT IS DUE TO THE LOUSY RECEPTION IN MY TOWN. THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE EASY TO FOLLOW. I PROMISE YOU IS A GREAT INVESTMENT. BY FAR THE BEST PORTABLE RADIO I OWNED IN OVER 60 YEARS. GOD BLESS YOU.

Nabiyah1: Keep in mind this review is right of the box, in a dense city area & not tested under stressful conditions as of yet. This little radio just arrived and so far I'm impressed. The dials work great I had no problem finding a radio station. The sound is really good. I was concerned about the sound quality because of previous reviews and was expecting it to be trash; absolutely not. It's not stereo sound of course, but you get clear, more than adequate volume. I was able to get stations quite easily with the tuning knob. When lifting the antenna those stations were even clearer. The flashlight is good quality and strong. There are three levels for that. I haven't tried the solar panel charging yet nor the crank charge. The crank is made of plastic that does not appear very sturdy. I would imagine when using it, the user will want to be conscious of this and take care to not be too rough with it to preserve it's integrity and functionality. However, for the price-point, it's probably okay, as long as you are careful when using it. I will update this review once I've had an opportunity to test those features adequately. Again, straight out the box, so far so good. I'm impressed. I'm...

K&R in SD: These hand cranked + solar devices have come a long way. Being able to USB charge and including easily removed and replaced 18650 cells is a big plus. You can still use the solar charging which is slow because of the limited surface area of the solar cell. Yeah, you can hand crank in a REAL emergency but you will not do that from empty to full charge.
The radio reception on all bands is good but you might need to clip on a longer wire to improve things in some locations. The lights, especially the reading lit with PIR sensor are perfect. Very bright and long lasting due to the capacity of the included 18650 cells. Testing those showed they were really about 1950 mA*h but who really expects an accurate reading for Chinese lithium cells? If you care, put in some LG's or other higher capacity cells.

Luckydog52: What an awesome emergency radio/flashlight/Cell charger!!! All inclusive that will be needed when you lose power or on camping trips. Multi charging with solar power, hand cranked generator, and lithium ion internal batteries. To charge the EM Radio initially, you can use a standard USB cell charger (cord included, micro connector Plus iPhone lightening adapter). 4 led lights tell the amount of charge you have in 25% increments. Use the same cord to charge your electronic devices by Solar or Hand Crank Generator. The led flashlight has 3 modes with center lamp, wide angle lamps, or both. Extremely bright! Underneath the solar panel is a nice LED reading light. It can also be used as a motion detector, up to 12 feet away. Nice on a dark table to alert you to wild critters. Also, a great feature is the SOS emergency siren and flashing light. Very loud!! The radio includes Weather band and AM/FM. Use the extendable antenna for weather and FM stations. AM has it’s own internal antenna. Good quality sound for a compact device. This device is water resistant with a nice soft textured finish. Includes lanyard and small carabiner. This will be nice for car emergencies, too. Great gift...

Ann: When we moved to Fort Myers, FL, four years ago, I made sure we were prepared for hurricane season and bought lanterns and this weather radio. It's awesome! It not only has NOAA weather and AM/FM radio, it has a flashlight, reading light, SOS alarm, and other features. It's easy to use, small and compact. The battery is long lasting, too! After the power went out from Hurricane Ian last year, we still had our local TV station on the radio to keep us abreast of what was happening outside. This year I bought 3 of these radios for residents in our building who were totally unprepared last year. Well worth the price!!
