Geek Aire Rechargeable Floor Fan – Battery-Powered Cooling for Home or Office

A G M: I've used this product all summer, when I volunteered at a wild life refuge. There is no electricity at my station, and we have problems with mosquitoes. When I use this fan, the mosquitoes cannot stay on me and I do not get bitten.

I've also used it in my backyard when I work in the garden. It keeps bugs off me and keeps me cool. I've also used in inside the house to keep me cool. I LOVE that I do not have to think about extension cords or electrical outlets.

It's very portable, light weight and quiet. A charge lasts a very long time.....through my 5 hour shift at the refuge. I love that you can regulate how strong the air flows and you can easily aim where you need it. I've also hung it up because it's very light weight.

I wish this technology was available when I still camped! Would hight recommend it.

Barry D: We use this outside to discourage mosquitoes and other flying insects and in a bathroom window as an exhaust fan (mid-century modern with no ceiling). Very handy if you need it where there isn’t a nearby outlet.

Pakahead: The only 2 things I don’t like about this fan is it doesn’t have USB charging. So using it for camping isn’t as easy. It charges very fast plugged in but while plugged in the maximum airflow is greater than when running on battery power.

Laura: This fan works great as a personal wind-blower. I love the very low speed (it's the least noisy) and the fact that I can place the fan right in front of me on a table. Truly excellent portability. The fact that it doesn't need electricity is incredible.

But don't think that it's completely quiet -- which I thought it was going to be. On high speeds it sounds like a small plane is taking off. The droning sound is highly mechanical and drives me nuts. So, I just use it on the low speed as a desk fan.

K-9 Lover: I am updating my review 07 20 2023. I am so glad I gave this unit a chance and glad I didn't return it. I have run it on the lower speeds for days now and have gotten up to 17 hours of run time before having to recharge. And it recharges quickly, about 2-3 hours. It is ideal for use in my kitchen where things get a bit heated while preparing food as I said in my previous review. It sits on the corner of my island and I just switch it on. And it is the quietest fan I have ever owned! I moved the rating to five-stars.
Okay, the listing says this " This rechargeable floor fan can run up to 20 hours after a full recharge". So, I charged it overnight and turned it on to the highest setting at 6:00AM. It ran until shortly before 11:00AM. So, about 5 hours on the maximum speed. Not exactly what I was going for but I discovered this portable fan is going to work on my kitchen counter with no cords to trip over. I get warm preparing food and whatnot and I placed it on the corner of my island and found a use for it.
