Cameron: Wow, what a surprise! I love that this adapter is so small. The USB ports are tight, and the fit/finish is very nice. It feels very sturdy in the hand. The HDMI port works great, and the card readers are a nice bonus.
My only concern (time will tell) is the cable itself, and whether it will stand up to abuse. I will try to minimize flexing it.

jennyjenny: Love this USB C Hub Multiport Adapter. I have a MacBook Pro which has 4 USB C ports but no USB 3.0 ports at all. This adapter is very useful to connect multiple external USB drives and also a second monitor through the HDMI port. I quite often use it on my PC laptop; my laptop only comes with 2 USB ports and I often need to swap out a USB device to make room for another USB device. Works great!

GailGail: I plugged my iPhone into a USB port and it instantly started charging. Easy to transfer photos from my phone to my laptop or from SD card. Small & lightweight- fits in your pocket or purse. USB to HDMI great for extending screen to external monitor or to TV to watch videos or streaming content. It works with both my MacBook Pro and my husband’s PC (XPS). Since the XPS 13 is lacking in ports, this is a great accessory with not just 3 USB ports but HDMI with 5GBPS transfer speed, & SD slots. It would be nice to have a USB-C port but overall, for the size, portability and price, it’s great! I like the layout - HDMI port on the end, 3 USB ports and 2 SD slots on the side. Looks & feels nice & durable. Power indicator light is helpful.

A Kindle Customer: It does what it's designed to do and seems to be manufactured for long life. I did not conduct a performance test to compare it to my other docking devices, so I can't say it offers more or less throughput in comparison to my other devices. I can say the performance is good enough for my uses, and the monitor this is connected to works as expected.
I used this with a MacBook Pro and a Chromebook, and both connected to it without incident.

I did some searching and learned that Apple has an adapter, but that adapters lack functionality in the sense that you can’t plug too many devices in at once.
I came across this particular USB hub. There is an HDMI port (that I’m 99% sure I’ll never use on my laptop), three USB ports, an SD card slot, and a Micro SD card slot. For the price, the value of it was incomparable.
I’ve included a picture of my SD card from my Nikon D50 camera inserted into the slot, followed by a screenshot on my laptop of the card being read.
