I bought another slicer for $80, it was very poorly built. I returned It and ordered this one and it is a lot better unit. I don't have any problems recommending this unit for light personal use.

Amazon Customer:
You can only run for five minutes at a time with a 2-4 hour cool down period. Terrible use to cool down ratio. If you exceed 3-5 minutes of use,, the unit will Begin smoking.. Also, not very easy to clean.
