Lloyd: Works like a dream compared to one that I had purchased at Walmart. I used it today for the 1st time on a project on my boat. I was stapling fiberglass cloth and fiberglass mat to wood. I will be applying epoxy to it later tonight.
The staples went through everything and into to the wood as they were supposed to. I used up a good share of a box on staples today without any problems. Works great.

JessicaJessica: Arrived broken, spring stretched out and loading mechanism damaged with no way to attach the spring properly. Clearly a repackaged return or damaged during assembly. Unacceptable and totally useless. Not sure where all these good reviews are coming from. Just another piece of plastic junk. Straight up - do not buy this, cheap materials and bad design. Set me a whole day behind on a project. I do not appreciate having my time wasted because of poor quality control.

The gun is easy to load, easy to use and the trigger can be locked in the down position to make it easier to put in a bag of tools. It is described as “heavy duty” but this gun is mainly made from plastic and I would normally only use the term “heavy duty” for tools that are made from metal and/or can take a lot of punishment.
I tried it out with all of the supplied staples and nails. I first tried the “heavy” staples as written on the box and followed the instructions to move the front switch up to take the “heavier” staple. They are a little bit thicker by about 1mm than the other supplied staples. I got a lot of misfires or bent staples. I tried other staples in the same setting and got a similar result. I then slid the pressure switch under the handle to high, thinking if they were heavier staples maybe that was what was wrong. I still got a lot of misfires and bent staples.
