I started my Roomba, drove half an hour into town, had lunch, went to the UPS store, and drove back home — and the Roomba was just finishing up. 2 hours, 15 minutes of run time, 18 months after purchase. What a great value!

Natalie: I purchased 4 of these batteries for myself, mother, and grandma. I did a ton of research and read so many reviews that I felt good about using this brand. I proudly installed them and was careful to follow every instruction or protocol for each model installation….charging, and initial set up, yada yada. Fun times end there!!!
Well…then a nightmare of issues started happening along with the desperate calls from mom & grandma!!! 4 vacs going crazy or doing nothing at all!!
After initially working for a short time and having a happy mom and grandma, the bliss ended. All FOUR of our $$$ Roomba's are now useless. I kid you, not !!!
4 months of aggravation, fried mother boards, endless error messages, beeping, sounds, harassing error messages on not only my vacs, but my beloved family’s vacs, too!!! . Countless trips to try to fix their vacs, my vacs, the phone calls, the text, emails, the printing instructions to reset, reboot, and trying to trouble shoot …what the heck was happening!!!
Asking the husband to help!! Then dealing with his frustration….It’s has been the worst experience ever!!! I had to get a degree in Roomba!!! Did I mention the Error...

Sarasota2k4: This replacement battery for my iRobot Roomba 500 series vacuum has been impressive. My Roomba has come back to life after the original battery died. So far, after a month of use, I'm able to get about 90 minutes to 2 hours of use before the vacuum heads back to the dock to recharge. Only takes a few hours to recharge, as well.
Don't give up on your Roomba if it doesn't start, or only lasts a few minutes. It is likely the battery. Only requires removing the side brush and four screws to access the battery compartment. No more than a few minutes of your time. Requires a phillips-head screw driver.

Tim: Update after using. This claims to have higher capacity than my Roomba’s original battery. I bought this to replace an aging battery. This battery doesn’t last as long as the worn out old battery, quite disappointing

Rick K: Purchased this battery to replace a stock Li-ion battery in a Roomba 960. The capacity rating on the replacement battery is a much higher 4800 mAh compared to the stock 1800 mAh. I was a little concerned about using a battery with a different chemistry, since the charging characteristics are different. With the stock battery, Roomba would vacuum for about an hour and then redock itself to charge before going on to complete the job. At the end of the life of the stock battery, the battery would die before Roomba could make it back to the dock. With the replacement battery, Rooma run for 2 hours and finished the entire floor of my house in one charge. So far so good. Hopefully the replacement battery remains good for at least a couple years.
Update: I have had this battery for 14+ months and it's still performing well. Impressed that an inexpensive NIMH battery is holding up over time and runs much longer than the iRobot supplied Li-ion.

Gadget Geek: I purchased this battery back in December of 2021 to replace the OEM battery in my Roomba 880. If you asked me at that time, I would have likely given the battery 5 stars. I use my Roomba on a near daily basis -- start it when I go to bed, and let it charge throughout the day. Initially, the battery worked well -- able to do its job and after a hard day's work, it would go back to its dock to go sleep and charge up for another day of work. Fast forward 6 months, the Roomba started having issues completing a single run -- it would stop in the middle of a cleaning cycle, and could not make its way back to the dock. We would then let it fully discharge and charge for two days thinking that more time charging is what it needed. That didn't work. Fast forward to September 2022 -- about 10 months after we purchased it -- the Roomba would stop dead in its track after 15 minutes.
I contacted the seller for support as the product page states that theres a 12-month limited warranty. I explained that I used it daily, and that I've already let it fully discharge and fully charge. The response I got was -- "I'm sorry that this happened, the battery will be depleted and consumed for a...
