PaulP: Being solid brass was a factor in my decision. The oil rubbed finish looks great and matches the fittings in my shower. Being not made of stainless steel gives it less of a "medical" type of device. Quality seems good.

Joost Santos: At first I was concerned because it seemed lightweight and thin. After installing snd securing it on studs, the grip bar is pretty stable and can hold my weight. Love the black color!

Todd: We used this for a single step up from a laundry room and it works great. The base brackets can be rotated so at least two of the mounting screws can be secured into a 2x4 studs, making for a very secure installation. Grab bar itself of very nice build quality and the finish is great.
