Efficiently Wind 4 Automatic Watches with the MetaBay Watch Winder

Corey Erman: It started out ok, but within a few days the motors were very noisy. I had to remove it from the bedroom because of the noise of the motors. Eventually, the motors started to stutter in turning and ultimately stopped running.

Richard: Was a nice product. Looks good on table. However, after 6 months all motors stopped working and there's no way to contact company for support. Would never buy again. Would never recommend anyone to buy unless youre looking for short term. For the money I paid I was hoping to at the very least get a year out of it.

A. Amin: Beautiful and was excited to add it to my other two winders, but less than 6 months one winder is dead. Other two winders are noticeably running slower specially when two watches of different weight are on the same winder, then totally DEAD and no serious response or care from seller, you get what you pay for.

MSH: I bought this Metabay Six- Watch winder after looking through reviews of dozens of watch winders on Amazon.

The main worry on all these more affordable watch winders that are mostly sourced offshore seems to be that they occasionally stop working a couple of years in. That and there are a dizzying number of brands to look through and evaluate. On the first point, I think these watch winders manufactured overseas get a bad rap. The motors in all winders are relatively simple and honestly, the name brands fail, too. Here is an example. I bought three Italian Watch Winders in 1997 from a company called Time Dimensions. The actual winder was called a Time Cube. All three failed within 5-6 years and they cost $825 each for a double watch winder. This Metabay winder gave me the ability to wind six watches for about $229.00, far, far less than the $2,475 I paid for six watch winding capability from Time Dimensions 1997. If this watch winder fails every two years, and I bought a new one every time, I'd still come in at about 30% of what I paid for the Italian Winders, which lasted only six years! Jesse W: At this price point, this looks great and is extremely quiet. The LED lights are underneath the watches, so it doesn’t illuminate the watches very well. I didn’t plan to use the lights anyway, so it doesn’t affect me at all. Overall, a very nice case that keeps the autos running. Very pleased with this purchase.
