This watch winder is nearly silent while running, and comes with four options for direction and duration. The knob on the front can be used to select one of these four modes, or switch it to the off position.
The back of the winder has two switches which control the main power and the blue LED lights independently. This allows you to keep the lights off while keeping your watch wound, or have a blue glow on your watch while it's on display.
Affixing a watch to the spring loaded pillow is quick and simple, and it easily accommodated my watch without any issues.
I have not had need of the battery power option yet, but I can imagine the convenience of being able to simply leave the cable at home when traveling, or for placing this somewhere that doesn't have an outlet nearby.
