En general es un muy buen producto, y no es como uno se lo imagina de las imagines proporcionadas por el vendedor. El rebobinador (caja giratoria) a pesar de aparentar ser de madera es de plástico pintado para darle esa apariencia.
El “cristal” no es propiamente cristal, sino que es plástico/acrílico. El interior esta bien acolchonado y no rayan los relojes en su caratula ni correa.
El rebobinador es más grande de lo que uno piensa, puede acomodar dos relojes grandes (de hombre) sin problema y sin que estos se toquen. El aparato en la parte trasera tiene dos “switches”, el primero es para prender y apagar el rebobinador y el segundo es para establecer la secuencia de movimiento que se quiera, tiene cuatro secuencias distintas.
CONCLUSIÓN: Es un buen producto en cuanto a su relación de calidad y precio, pero si buscas un rebobinador de alta calidad este no es la mejor opción.

Purchased mine on June 22, 2011 here on Amazon. Worked pretty good. Very quiet. The padded watch holders over time will come apart. Today, seven years later it quite on me. No Go any more. For $.71 cents a month for seven years? Yeah I would say it did its job.
April 5, 2017: My new Diplomat arrived today. Looking for another seven years. I had purchased three of the "cube" winders in the last month and had to send each back. Update 4-20-18. Working like a charm. The others would not keep my Omega Seamaster Titanium/Rose Gold watch running. I like the smaller cube winders but they did not work. This one is great.
Another update: Oct 11, 2018. Still working as designed. Very quiet, looks good.
FEB 1, 2019 update: I am starting to get a grinding noise from the winder. I emailed the company a week ago and have not heard from them yet. I gave them a glowing write-up. Hope they are not letting me down.
Update: February 24, 2019: Although it took awhile and one email from Diplomat I finally received two new motors and a new mini "motherboard" yesterday. Removed five screws on bottom. One screw is center top under the "Made In China" label. The...

Quiet & keeps watches wound even at the lowest setting. If it doesn't last very long, I may come back to lower the rating but that would be it's only drawback.
As winders go it's not large but do keep in mind it takes up a bit of dresser space so measure whatever winder you get - I've seen several reviews were people were surprised at how big the winders are.

I bought this winder about two years ago, after lots of research and reading. It doesn't look incredibly fancy, as it is plastic, but it does the job. It's quiet - it's spinning, so it's not silent, but it's definitely quiet. I like the fact that it has four settings and can hold two watches (especially with regards to price!). It stopped running a couple months ago - it smelled like something had burned. My advice is to wait and watch the winder start turning after you put your watch in - I'm not extremely gentle and I sometimes throw the spinning part off balance when I put my watch inside. So, I sometimes have to adjust the spinning part back into place so that it spins. I might have not done this before it broke and the winder was just powering against a brick wall and unable to move. I'm not sure if that's what happened, but it's a possibility. Or, it simply broke, like most things eventually do! My boyfriend took it apart and found a burnt corner on the circuit board. I emailed the company and they sent replacement parts immediately - they arrived within a few days (I live in Alaska, so that's a big deal!). They were very friendly and helpful. The winder...

I purchased this Diplomat Burl Wood double watch winder back in April of 2010. All started out well and the winder is very quiet with 4 excellent function modes. It is definitely not wood (100% plastic) but still looks pretty nice. The pillows that hold the watch in the winder start out nice and tight but shrink over time and lately the watch has been falling out of the winder. After only 8 months, the winder developed an electrical hum and the gears inside starting slipping causing a clicking sound and making the unit shake during operation. I contacted the manufacturer, returned the unit to them and they returned it to me "repaired". It was actually worse than before I sent it in. After a few more emails, they exchanged the unit under warranty. I was happy again for about 10 additional months untii it started the humming/clicking routine again. Now, the unit is no longer under warranty and the manufacturer only offered to repair it if I cover the costs. I would stay away from this winder if you want a product that will function for years to come.

The Diplomat Burl wood watch winder is perfect. It holds two watches and has 4 easy modes of operation. I just set my Invicta dive watch in the winder, plug it in, set it to desired mode and hit the on switch. Seeing the watch rotate in such a good looking winder is very cool! It is whisper quiet, and simply beautiful! Note: This winder is not made of wood. (Plastic.) I already knew this, from reading other reviews. It still is worth the price, and is a very, very sharp looking winder. I hope your's works as well as mine does. NOTE: I was NOT pleased that it took 9 days to get to me. I'm over it now. I purchased this watch winder about 8 months ago. I wanted to wait until I had it awhile before posting a review. So far so good. I have it next to my bed on the side stand and it is so quiet, you can't tell it is on. Sometimes I feel the need to check to see if it is on as I keep it on the intermittent mode. It works great and is a great price. The case seems well made and very pretty. Hope this helps your decision to buy
this is an update to the Diplomat watch winder. It lasted almost 3 years. I expected it to last longer, not sure how long other winders last. I still stand by above winder but will downgrade the rating due to short life span.
