Dash Family-Sized 14 Inch Electric Skillet with Nonstick Surface

Lisa: I bought this pan to use while my kitchen was being remodeled. I now prefer to use this pan rather than my stove!! The pan is big and heats up quickly!! I can also make everyone’s food at once!! No more of everyone eating their burgers, grilled cheese, or pancakes in batches or cold so everyone can eat together. The pan is easy to clean. I also love the aqua color!! I highly recommend this item and it would also make a nice gift!!

EmmeiEmmei: My daughter’s stove isn’t working - so I bought them this. It heats up quickly and can cook evenly. It is very large, but well worth the price, and perfect for cooking a pot of soup. So happy with this purchase. Definitely recommend

Michelle Dickerson: I bought this for our trailer when we go away camping because cooking on a 3 burner mini stove wasn't practical. This skillet is large enough to cook at least 2 different things on it for several people. It was easy to clean and it made cooking breakfast for everyone easier. One skillet rather than 2-3 frying pans.

Kindle Customer: This is my first new electric skillet yet 2nd one, lol. I actually got this as a backup. Several years ago a friend gave me hers when she was moving. We've (me and boyfriend) use this almost daily for the past 2 and half years. Still works great with no damage or problems at all. We've went through 4 or 5 smaller ones by different brands in the same time frame with less usage with them. They will start flaking on the bottom and food will get stuck. Using the exact same plastic or silicone utensils on both skillets. This out performs and lasts way way better than any other electric skillet even more expensive and high end brands. Highly recommend this to anyone. 15 out of 10 stars.

DC: THE KNOB ON THE COVER IS NOT HIGH ENOUGH. VERY HARD TO HOLD ON TO. ALSO THERE IS NO SPOUT TO GET RID OF OIL OR LIQUID.

dm: With the 14" Dash electric fry pan I was able to fry 23 perogies. Normally, with my12" teflon pan, I would have to fry the same amount of perogies two times over, which would double the cooking time. I can fry eight long & thick slices of bacon in the pan. After that I would fry 6 eggs in the pan. Again It reduces the time in half and both the eggs/bacon don't stick to the pan. It is non-stick and easy to wash. Two thumbs up.

Kathleen K.Kathleen K.: I rent a small space without a kitchen, so this hotpot is my primary cooking appliance. It’s surprisingly lightweight, considering its size (14” inches in diameter), so it’s very portable, and I plan to do some cooking with it out on the deck in the summer. It’s ideal for cooking large meals for parties or for meal prepping. I picked this over a hot plate/skillet/pot combo because I only have to worry about storing one thing and because it’s attractive enough to store in plain sight. All my stuff is a light aqua/mint color, so it fits right in.

The non-stick cooking surface is fairly thin, so I would recommend using the soft-variety silicone cooking utensils to avoid surface scratches that were mentioned by other reviewers. It comes with a plug-in control knob.

It heats up quickly, but not evenly. The heating element is circular, rather than coiled, and because of this, it will always be hotter directly above the heating element than it is at the center, sides, or at the spot furthest from the control knob (visible in picture w/ boiling water). This has been something I’ve needed to be conscious of when cooking eggs or pancakes, but it doesn’t really...

Jo Lloyd: This is much bigger than I realized it would be and I LOVE it! Make a lot and freeze things in individual Tupperware to eat later! So pretty and easy to clean up. Only reason I rated the temperature control low was it doesn’t show temperatures...only low to high but that is no big deal. I also couldn’t fit the control into the pan at first so I thought it was broken. I came back a couple hours later and tried again and I just didn’t push it together hard enough. Easy clean up. It is a bit large for my counter and wonder if I should have purchased the smaller size but I don’t think so because I like the idea of only using one pan to cook my eggs and pancakes in the same place! No hot spots. Don’t turn it up very high. Even on low, food heats up quick. I thought I might have burned my stir fry when I got busy and wasn’t paying attention. Other pans left as long like I did this time would have burned food. This pan did a good job of protecting food from my distractions. Could still burn food but less likely than other pans. I am ecstatic about this electric fry pan!
