Lisa: I love the size. I used it the for first time to make chicken fried steak and it worked so well and made the job so much easier.
I bought it for the ease of cleaning, cost and I love the spout. The spout made it easy to drain the oil.

Christopher L.: This is much larger than the electric skillet we replaced. It's plenty big enough for the two of us. It heats up quickly so you need to be careful with adjustments. I don't have an infrared thermometer so I can't tell if it's accurate or not. Heat seems to be distributed fairly evenly. I did have to knock one star off though. I'm the type of person that lifts the lid off and turns it over quickly so the water doesn't drip everywhere. The issue with this lid is that the metal trip ring isn't tight to the glass so when I turn it over the water leaks out at the corners. I've never had a lid do that on anything I've owned. The foldaway feature is nice for storage. We've been taking it with us when camping. It would be nice if a bag of some sort came with it to make carrying easier.

Andrew: I was actually looking at electric griddles, and this came up randomly suggested.
I'm using it in a travel trailer. Everything folding up into a ~4-5 inch volume is really nice, since I don't have a great deal of storage. For a smaller trailer, one could even fit a few tools (silicon spatulas or whatever) inside.
It serves a lot of the same purposes as a griddle, with the tradeoff of having a lid (less spatter) but having sides (a bit harder to work in). Overall, I really like it. I can do most things I'd use a skillet for, it's got the same advantages as a small griddle, and it's reasonably compact. Great for quickly cranking out breakfast for a few people, 3-4 hamburgers, a couple medium-sized steaks, or other such cookery.

Anita C.: We are using this product to fry chicken, fish, big batch of stew, etc. It's great, non stick pan and can be used to serve the food.

Emerald Haven: I have had an electric skillet since we married 46 years ago. It couldn't be submerged in water so it was a bugger to clean and my strive was to avoid getting water in the plug port. I dropped it the other day and broke one of the legs off.
My husband told me to order a new one. Man, oh man, electric skillets have come a long way, baby! The one I purchased is a Presto 16" foldaway electric skillet that can actually be washed in the dishwasher!
The skillet is a deep dish which makes it easier to stir whatever I am cooking without anything flipping out over the sides. It has a clear lid so I can see what's going on with the meal I am cooking. It has a steam port on the side and not in the lid to allow for my serving spoon or spatula a place to rest. But I have to be very careful because that does let the steam out and I can easily get burned. The heat control is a dial. It will go to 400 degrees quickly. Now, the next best thing to it being easy to clean in the dishwasher is the handles clip off and you can lift the skillet out and take it directly to the table for serving. Use good thick hot pan holders to carry it because it really retains the heat.
When I get...

Spigs68ca: It works as you would expect it to. The fact that the pan easily comes free from the stand does make cleaning it much easier. It does fold away nicely however it doesn't make it that much more compact. It reduces the height and length by about an inch or two.
There is a spout like opening on one corner of the lip which is nice for pouring or resting a spoon or ladle on.
The handles on the stand wiggle a bit when it's locked which alarmed me a little bit at first but it seems like that's just the way it works.
Overall it works well.

MaidenCanadaMaidenCanada: I have owned many electric frying pans over the years, all coated, even one coated in ceramic and this appliance is the best one I have ever purchased. I love the large size. The ability to take it from its stand and put it in the top of the dishwasher is A-Mazing! I love the rounded edges. And even better than the ease and aesthetics, is how evenly it cooks. Most Pam's seem to get really hot where the elements are but this one seems to be hot equally everywhere. And I have now had it for a few months and with almost daily use the pan looks perfect and you cannot see where the elements even are (some of the ones I owned in the past discoloured quickly where the elements are. All on all I would highly recommend this pan.

Tom.d'Frog: We have used our skillet A LOT. We have a small stove and the skillet gets used 3-4x/week. Over the last 5 years, we had to replace the Temp Control device as the original one's plastic split. And now, we are replacing the whole unit as we have noticed wear through marks in the non-stick from where the base, while collapsed and stored in the pan for storage, has rubbed away the non-stick.
