Alessandro Allegra: Allora… non sono un musicista e non m’intendo assolutamente di corde o di qualità sonore.
Ero a casa di amici e dopo qualche bicchiere di troppo in tavernetta, butto l’occhio su questa chitarra elettrica da bambini in un angolo della stanza.
Dopo l’ok del papà del bimbo, la prendo per esibirmi goliardicamente nella peggior versione delle solite canzoni strimpellate da chi cerca di fare il “chitarrista” ma in realtà sa fare 4 accordi messi in croce del giro di DO…finito lo spettacolino tra risate e pianti (quelli da lassù degli artisti che mi han sentito rovinargli le canzoni), mentre nessuno guarda sbam, salta la corda…..e chi glielo dice ora al bambino??
Senza dire nulla a nessuno, ordino il rimpiazzo su Amazon, che arriva il giorno dopo. Con una scusa banale passo a casa dell’amico e dico di dover andare in bagno, ma di doverla “fare brutta” e chiedo il permesso di andare nel bagno della tavernetta, lontano da orecchie indiscrete.
5 minuti di paura per cambiare la corda e…credo nessuno si sia accorto di nulla!
Grazie Amazon, grazie venditore e produttore di corde, avete salvato me, ma soprattutto un povero bambino ignaro di tutto.

ibuytoomuchthings: I did what everyone else who's even looking at this product did: broke only one string that was relatively new and said to themselves "why would I buy a whole new set?" This is a great solution! I will say this, though... Please, for the love of the guitar Gods, buy something else with this product. If not, it will ship alone in a big package and you'll feel like the most wasteful human being... not speaking from experience, of course.

Organ Grinder: For over 50 years I've liked and used D'Addario strings. I saw this package of five high E strings, and since I already have 2 packages with missing first strings, I thought they'd make a great substitute. I use these extra thin strings on a Strat, where I tend to do a lot of string bending.

When they arrived, they were packaged in one paper envelop, bundled together. This was not expected, and I'm not one to save old envelopes.so I was forced to place a high string in one of the wound string envelopes. It's not a big deal, but I expected an individually packaged string, like you'd buy at a music store. (I hope that they still sell individually packaged single strings at a music store.)

What's up at, D'Addario? I bought one of your 4-in-1 tools recently and it was junk. The string winder part fit loosely to its base, and would not clear the "pin puller" with each turn. The product felt like it was made of 3D printed material-cheap and unfinished plastic. I sent that product back to Amazon within the week.

Now the 5-pack of strings aren't individually packaged, each string in its own envelop. What happened to quality and customer satisfaction at The D'Addario...
