Charles: I swear by the lighter gauge strings (easier on the fingers and bending on the lower frets). I occasionally shop around but seem to come back to them for the name and getting a good deal. I don't think they make me a necessarily better player and don't think paying 3x as much for some other brands is going to make a difference. I can afford to change these out a few times a year and be quite happy. Easy to recommend and i use them on electrics and acoustics (find the brass wound strings hard on my fingers).

CJ: Like the headline says, these were a shot in the dark. I didn't feel like going to my local guitar store to grab some expensive strings that I won't like, so I tried these out and...wow. These are definitely my favorite by far. I play a lot of rock/metal and these things can take a beating and still can bend pretty well even a couple weeks down the line. Think I'll be grabbing these again soon!

C. Waters: There are so many different types of guitar strings on the market that it's hard to know what's best. Prices vary but I have found that if I can get past the marketing ploys, just a basic set of 9's for my strats and Tele style guitars and 10's for everything else is all I really need. They will last a good amount of time with cleaning after using them. I think these strings sound as good as the more pricy brands out there.
