kris franks: I've used Ernie Ball strings for many years, and they have been consistently great strings. I do have 1 suggestion for Ernie Ball though. When I was a kid whenever you bought a set of guitar strings they always put an extra high E string in the package. Please go back to this practice! I can't remember the last time I broke a string but I did break the .008 high E string this time as I was wrapping it on the tuner.
Even though I still give these strings top rating!!
