Ale_e_FranciAle_e_Franci: Uso queste e le Elixir .
Sebbene per varie ragioni preferisca le Elixir( Che hanno un trattamento tipo "goretex" esterno per aumentarne la durata , utile se si ha su numero estremamente vasto di chitarre visto che le corde potrebbero ossidarsi anche se non suonate , e con il trattamento non succede così facilmente ) ;
Le D'addario hanno un loro "feeling" particolare per cui su alcune chitarre le tengo , oltre ad essere più morbide delle Elixir .Inoltre le D'addario hanno una durata decente anche in questa versione non coated ( cioè senza trattamento esterno per prolungarne le durata ) e le reputo le migliori nella loro fascia di prezzo , escludendo qualche piccolo produttore italiano che realizza ottime corde .
Ma se parliamo di internazionalmente riconosciute e reperibili , le D'Addario restan appunto una specie di "standard".

To be honest…: I just installed them on. So far they feel very slick and smooth. Make sure to stretch your stings after installing to maximize being in tune. G B E stings feel like they are coated with some kinda smooth material but I can be wrong because I oiled up my guitar before putting on the strings. Even if they are coated with something they play smooth and so far I like how they feel. Lengthwise they are good too. As I was adjusting the strings I heard a crack and thought one string broke but so far everything is intact. The packaging was super easy to understand, it came with color coded strings and basically told which string goes where.

I've been a loyal D'Addario fan for over 20 years and they are always my Go-To for strings for any gauge I might need or want to try out. These strings are perfect for metal/rock/jazz and detuned tunings like drop C.

Also, their customer service is amazing and their loyalty program is awesome since you can earn points for free strings or other music related items. I don't see too many companies doing that for their customers nowadays, so they have earned my loyalty for life going above any beyond like that.

Nate: I have used these same strings for close to 30 years. IMO, they are just the right string for the styles of music that I play. Not too bright, not too dark.

I find stainless strings to be too "zingy" for me, and they wear frets much faster. Pure nickel-wound strings sound too dull. These are the best of both worlds.

I honestly cannot remember having a bad D'Addario string, and I worked in guitar shops for many years putting these very strings on other people's guitars. I think that they are the standard to which I measure all other strings.

Raffaele: Ho recentemente provato il set di corde D'Addario per chitarra elettrica e sono rimasto positivamente colpito dalla qualità e dal suono eccezionale che queste corde offrono. Come chitarrista, è fondamentale avere corde affidabili che si mantengano in sintonia e producano un suono nitido e vibrante, e devo dire che le EXL120 soddisfano appieno tutte le mie aspettative.

La prima cosa che ho notato è la durata delle corde. Nonostante il mio stile di gioco sia abbastanza energico, le D'Addario EXL120 hanno dimostrato di mantenere la loro intonazione e brillantezza per un lungo periodo di tempo. Ho potuto suonare per ore senza dovermi preoccupare di accordare la chitarra costantemente, il che è un grande vantaggio sia per le prove che per le performance dal vivo.

Il rivestimento in nickel delle corde offre una sensazione di gioco liscia e confortevole. Le corde scorrono agevolmente sotto le dita, consentendomi di eseguire bendings, legati e altre tecniche con facilità. La risposta al tocco è immediata e precisa, consentendomi di esprimere appieno la mia creatività musicale.

Davenir: A very fast delivery of three sets in a box.
I use them in all of my guitars, there are propably better and worse but D'Addario EXL115-3D works for me.
