The Honeywell Compact Table Top Hepa-Type Air Cleaner is one of the best Air Purifiers on the market. Its sleek design and energy efficiency make it a great choice for any home. Its build quality is top-notch, and customers have given it an overall satisfaction rating of five stars. Get the clean air you deserve with the Honeywell Compact Table Top Hepa-Type Air Cleaner. Nicole: I got this because my Natropath dr recommended before the summer fires ( I live in BC 🇨🇦) when we have to close our windows and doors in a heat wave to have one of these to help clean the air.
I read all the reviews and decided on this one for the HEPA filter and portable option.
I have it running 24-7 ! I expected it to be loud since people complained ( I did see that post about people forgetting to take the plastic off the filter so I did that first ) it’s so quiet it’s no different than a fan people use when it’s hot? It’s quiet . My son is a toddler and we both slept fine with it .
Anyway when fires happened the house distinctly had cleaner air I would bring it downstairs in a living room all day then at night my sons bedroom and I’d sleep there too.
I want two more of these !
Highly recommend also looking forward to winter months as well
I read that HEPA helps with covid : viruses as well so best to get one of these!

Flower Nut: This air purifier is quiet! Honeywell is a well known brand and this table top unit is very quiet on lowest setting for night time use. On high it does have the sound of a heavy duty household fan but it is low pitched so it does not annoy you. Think of it as a white noise machine. The light is aimed upward and it is not at all bright so it does not disturb you. The filter is very easy to access and change. I have asthma and find winter indoor air difficult, so on arrival I unboxed it and set it up in my small 10' x 12' bedroom, turned the unit on high and left it for 3 hours. When I walked back into the room I immediately noticed a marked difference in the air quality. I turned it down to the lowest setting and have left it running 24/7 ever since. I no longer wake in the middle of the night with a blocked nose. I have not needed my allergy medication at night and only need 1/2 dosage for daytime. I sleep better and I am considering purchasing another unit for my living room.

Michel F: I bought this item for a limited special price. I am using it in a small room and only at night. It seems to work well and it is inexpensive for what it is but it is intended for small rooms only. You will get minimal results in bigger spaces such as a living room or a large master bedroom. It is simple to use: Just make sure the filter cartridge is in properly and turn on. The air is taken in from the back of the unit and escapes (filtered) from the top. Since the air escapes from the top, there is no sense in putting it up high so I leave mine close to the floor with enough space in the back for the unfiltered air to be sucked in. There are 3 fan levels and I leave mine at 1 since it is relatively quiet at that level. It makes a minimum amount of white noise but nothing disturbing. The noise level rises quickly and level 2 and 3 just like any other regular fan. I find it makes a difference in air quality in a small enclosed space with no open windows and a closed door. It is well worth the asking price for a good brand name. I hope it will last and remain essentially quiet.

Rob: Got this to help with my seasonal allergies, as well as the cat dander/fur and I'm happy with it. It's not a true HEPA filter, it's HEPA-type, which means there is no guarantee it will do anything BUT, Honeywell is a trusted brand so I took the risk.
Had it about a week now and I can definitely says it's been helping A LOT. Not only are my allergy symptoms improved (just typical stuff, stuffy nose, itchy eyes), but I feel like there is visibly less dust settling on things.
I'm a tidy person, so it's not like there was a ton of dust before, but it just seems like when I go to wipe things down there is less dust there then there used to be.
So yeah, I'm happy with it.
The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I feel like it's a bit over priced. It's basically just a fan in a box, it's all plastic, and there are no "extra" features (ie. an on/off timer, etc). Considering that replacement filters cost $15/each, and they need to be replaced 3-4 times/year, I feel like Honeywell could have priced this "fan in a box" lower since once you buy it you're basically a captive customer b/c you're going to have to constantly buy filters for it until it wears...
