Linda Samul: So far so good, because it's still holding its grip, but we've only had it since June, & in the past, our experience with this type of hand grip is that it loses it grip after several years. Time will tell with this one.

Amazon Customer: I was not expecting something so robust and dependable. Just remember to wet the suction cups prior to installation. They stay on indefinitely (3 weeks and counting). I will be buying another one

BendCasa.: Since I had bought one like it before for a shower, I bought again for a guest shower. For some reason I could not get it to stick on the tile. I tried it on a fiberglass tub wall and, again, it would not stick. I finally realized that I was not pressing hard enough on each suction cup so that the color indicator would turn green before I locked it. It's been up for weeks now with no problem.

Linda Pfeiffer: I have one of those heavy plastic shower stalls in my master bathroom. There are shelves in the stall but no security bar feature. As I age, I like the security of having this bar to grab as I'm turning in the shower and for stability when I need it. It's essential to read the instructions for proper usage of this bar. There are two indicators on it which begin as red and as you press the suction cups against the wall they begin to turn dark green. Then you press the closure down tight and both of those lights should be green. If there is any red showing, it's not safely on the wall. You start over and press it again until there is absolutely no red showing. Then it's safe for use. But the manufacturer warns you not to use the bar for lifting yourself in or out of a tub. This is simply a security bar to grab on to prevent slipping. It may not hold your weight if you pull on it too hard. And you should check every time you get in the shower to make sure you don't see any red. Just remove it and replace it until you see all green. It sounds more complicated than it is really. I thought it was a great thing to have in my shower and it looks good...

Christina : This is an extremely impressive product. I have recently had an injury that has caused me to be very unstable on my feet. I was missing my walk in shower like you couldn't believe. I have had other similar products when I was caring for my dad. They worked well but nothing compared to these. I am 6', 315lbs and these grips don't budge. They attach easily and very securely. I purchased two. One to hold on to while standing in the shower and one to help pull me up from my shower seat......they have performed flawlessly. I could not be happier with this purchase and would gladly recommend them to anyone who needs assistance staying upright.
