Michael B. Parks: Good quality.

IanIan: Came out of the box broken. The eye piece cover is not attached in any way making it impossible to rotate the eye piece because it just slips. I found the glue! It's in the tracks for the eye piece so they're siezed and will not move! Great quality!

It comes with a case that's obviously meant for some other product that has an inner pouch for nothing and gets in the way. The case doesn't even close over this optic.

Cheap chinesium.

Amydugas: I really like the fact that you can use one hand to view and adjust focus! Light weight!
It’s perfect!!!

Scott Campbell: I use this monocular for bird watching, sporting events, live theater, viewing scenery and wildlife. This monocular has first-rate clarity, excellent resolution, good FOV, and is very sturdily made. On the whole, this monocular outperforms my Vortex Solos 8x36 in almost every regard. I purchased the unit online for about $110 (plus sales tax), which makes this item a screamingly good value IMO. I liked this monocular so much I bought five of them to give to family members as Xmas gifts.

Heather smith: Tried several types and this one was it. Easy to adjust. Gets close up and I don’t feel like it’s shaky. Great product for inspecting things 20 - 3Up’ in the air in detail.

Amazon Customer: I bought this. I returned it. Not because it’s poor quality but because it’s about as good a quality as my Vortex binoculars (Diamondback 8x42) and I was hoping for significantly better. If I had only crappy bins then I would have been all over this but as it stands it’s too pricey for what it is. Excellent quality tho.

R. Freeman: I initially bought some binoculars on Amazon for the same price, and they had a manufacturing defect so I sent them back. I read somewhere online that you could essentially buy a killer monocular for the price of an OK binocular, so thought 'why not?'. Much more satisfied with this. It's small, has a nice clip for the belt when out on a walk, and is easy to index with a little practice when putting it to the eye (took me a little longer to get used to than binoculars). Since then it has accompanied me on every walk and road trip. I'm no expert on optics, so I won't spout off on all the nerdy particulars, but this this thing is really a nice piece of gear. It seems clear, bright and really pulls things into focus, easy to use once I practiced a bit with it. Very happy with this little eye scope.

Marlene Chiree: I also own a small Pentax 9x28 pocket pair of binoculars and the sharpness is very comparable. The low light vision improvement is imperceptible, if there is one. The monocular is OK, but overpriced for what it is. The binocs of course are easier on the eyes and the size difference is minimal. The tiny screw attaching the monocular clip fell out on the first outing. I had it clipped to my belt and was shocked when both, clip and monocular hit the ground in separate pieces. The tiny screw was impossible to find. The clip was an important feature for me because as others have stated, the pouch it comes with is quite ridiculous in size and function, without question repurposed from another product. The soft lid does barely comes over the bottom and is a struggle to close. Now the monocular is sitting on my shelf, until I manage to buy another fitting screw but also wondering if I would trust the clip again. So I am resigned to searching for and purchasing a functional and suitable case for it. Add this onto the price if you contemplate purchasing. I also agree with the poor reviews for the lens caps as they do open and come off while on the belt. I did a lot of research before buying...

GG: I wanted a decent optic I could take when I backpack, but size and weight matter. I already have a 10x28 economy pair of binoculars. They're very compact and light. But the optics leave much to be desired. So I bought this Bushnell Legend Ultra HD monocular hoping it would be my new backpacking optic.

One reviewer said this Bushnell Legend Ultra HD monocular was overpriced. I agree.

For the money, the image quality wasn't as quite as good as I was expecting. Nor was the image as bright as I expected. Not that the image quality or brightness were lousy; but I expected better for the money.

See, I had also purchased a pair of Hawke Endurance 8 x 32 binoculars, also from Amazon, for $20 less, and I was able to compare them side-by-side while I hiked in Colorado in bright full sunny conditions, in overcast drizzly rain conditions, and early and late in low light. I found the Hawke binos to be better in image clarity, brightness and sharpness in all conditions, doing markedly better in the gray low-contrast light of overcast or light rain.

I was surprised because I thought the larger objective lens of the Bushnell Legend would provide a much brighter image...
