Nicholas M.: I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality and feel of this instrument toured by a very clear optical system. I haven’t tried the phone adaptor but it seems reasonable enough. The manufacture supplies an over day replacement promise and a life time guarantee. Very happy with it.

David Pennington: I spent some time on the reviews and many of these monoculars have some negative aspects. This one seems a little better in this regards and so far I’m not disappointed. The Adasion is solid and robust and should be a handy alternative to carrying binoculars. The field of view is bright and clear and presents a very good even image, which is exactly what you want. The depth of field is a bit short so refocusing is required for different distances even at medium to long range, however it does this easily and the focusing wheel has a nice firm travel. The objective lens is 50mm not 56mm as described but the view is still bright. The eyepiece is large and easy to look through and features a good eye relief adjuster for you spectacle users. The lens caps are a heavy rubbery texture that fit snuggly. The front one is tethered but I’ll have to teacher the rear cap myself. The tripod is actually quite nice and light weight if you decide to use this. I haven’t used the phone camera adapter yet and I suspect it’s a little flakey as per the others that have been described. Even so it’s a nice little extra and should be fun to play around with. Unfortunately I haven’t been able...

Ebb: Largest handy 12X56 monocular with a generous price break. Low
light vision promise. A pleasant oriental brand name... all drew me
to choose this scope. Image is bright - the scope is well made.
I wanted a spotting scope for use on small cruising sailboat.
Ordered an expensive (when compared to the price of the telescope)
covered case to comfortably coral all its accessories -- haven't
gotten it yet so I don't know how well designed the catch is. Or even
if the scope will fit, and other stuff. Have not been able to rig the
soft one-handed holding strap, the instructions are not intuitive for
me, and I now wonder if it's necessary.
BUT, more important, I wear glasses, I need rubber 'eye-cups' not
cups but a rubber liner around optic eye-piece It would help immensely
if I could steady the scope against my glasses and my face. Because the
sight opening is rather small and needs contact to steady the scope in
use anywhere but necessary on a boat.
Would need a few eye-cup styles to find the right fit. I've looked on web
and there is not one 49--50mm soft rubber slip-on eye cushion available,
hundreds of smaller one. A simple tubular...

WTTWTT: The media could not be loaded.  This purchase turned out better than I expected. This 12x56 monocular is comparable to more expensive brands for sure. We had good luck with the Adasion when looking for 12x42 binoculars last year. We had purchased three different brands at the time and the Adasion was substantially the better quality binocular. We also had friends with more expensive Binoculars and monoculars to compare. We found that same quality in this monocular as we did previous purchases which definitely rivaled big dollar devices. After using binoculars and deciding to try a monocular for further distances and tripod mounting we decided to buy Adasion again. The more powerful the lens you have the more steady it needs to be when viewing. This is where a tripod comes into play. To me, when viewing at greater distances with mounted or tripod setup, a monocular is a better choice over binocular but that is personal experience. This particular unit has a wide 56mm lens which looks amazing! Crystal clear. The lens size allows nice viewing even in low light conditions. It comes with a good quality tripod and no need to upgrade. We were surprised the tripod was such good...

Adam: As I also own and love a pair of Adasion Binoculars, I wanted something a little more portable and easy to use. This monocular checks all the boxes. It has incredible clarity and is easier to use (than the binoculars) since it can be held with one hand. I also find it easy to focus and find things farther away now that I am only magnifying the one eye. I thought the focus knob was in a convenient position and I have been able to focus clearly on something 20 ft away just as easily as I could focus on something 200 ft away. I always thought binoculars were the way to go, but I am convinced that a monocular is much easier, convenient, and more powerful.

The accessories that came with it are wonderful as well. The tripod is sturdy and easy to mount and the phone attachment, similar to the one for the binocular, is also excellent. I think the tension knobs are a great addition and hold my phone securely. I also appreciate the fact that not only can I keep both the monocular and the phone attachment in the included case, the phone attachment is held in a velcro sleeve that securely stays in place in the monocular case. This leaves the perfect amount of room to hold the...

Birdwhalemountain: My Adasion 12x56 HD Monocular seems high quality and sturdy. The comfortable hand strap makes it easy for me to use quickly while hiking or bird watching or golfing; I put my hand through the hand strap and am able to make any needed adjustments quickly with my Index finger. It is light weight and portable. it's images are bright & high definition even in low light settings.
I love hummingbirds and can now see them clearly from my kitchen window using my Monoculars. I see every feature from their long beak to changing plumage colors.
For star gazing, I would prefer using a larger tripod than the small one provided.
My monocular is shock resistant so I am not worried about dropping it. The first time I used it, it began raining but because it is waterproof, I didn’t worry about it being ruined.
This Monocular comes with a small tripod and well built smart phone adapter.
