KJ: ive played this solo and with another player. works well both ways.
the game has a couple of spots where it reliably hangs when playing 2 player (not every time, but if it's going to then it'll happen in the same spots) but i havent had troubles with it single-player.

derrick: Bought it for my 4 year old and he loves it. This game is harder than Mario Brothers, but still easy enough for younger kids to try out. You need both controller and nunchuk to play this game which can take time getting used to.

Stefane Boge: the game came in case ....Used! lets just say that you can tell that this is a used game by looking at the case but hey its only plastic. the instruction manual was fine and the disc was PERFECT. consider the price that i pay for the game. this is awsome. i would realy recomend this seller anytime :-)

Mama M: I have a 4 (almost 5) yr old that is pretty much obsessed with this game. He loves it. He asks to play it almost every day (we usually don't let him play Wii during the week, and only sometimes on weekends). His 6 yr old brother loves this game so much he asked for Batman Wii 2 for Christmas this year (and got it from an auntie). My soon to be 5 yr old requested Batman wii 3 for his birthday (doesn't exist).
I was torn about how to evaluate this game, since, like I mentioned, my kids love it, if we want to evaluate how well the game was accepted by my boys (and also my 7 yr old daughter), I would give it a 10, but it does cause a problem for me since it isn't a very active game, which is fine with me for occasional fun, but other than that there isn't much value to it from a parental point of view. This and the fact that it has started an odd obsession, almost to an unhealthy point, are the reasons I gave the game 4 stars instead of 5. My kids are always begging to play it and cry when I tell them they need to turn it off.
Also, at first, we had to get online frequently to find the cheats for the game to figure out what we need to do to be able to move on. It took us a...

Organikz: Following the succes of Star Wars and Indiana Jones, LEGO brings this time the Batman into the world bricks. The story is pretty much centered in the animated series from the 90's,, with the villinas geting themselfs together and break out from Arkham and wreack some havok in Gotham City, and is up to the Dark Knight and the Boy Wonder to put them behind bars again. The gameplay is allmost identical to previous LEGO games, where have you to build different things in order to solve different puzzles, not only that but have to different gadgets and suits for both Batman and Robin if you want to progress through the game. The game not only focuses in the heros, we will have the chance to use the villans in order to progress the story. As with the rest of LEGO games, hummor is at the order of the day, the silent storylines are filled with inside jokes, keeping you laughing and in good mood through the game. The game is not really difficult or a test of skill, this game is just about having a good time. If you liked previus LEGO games or are Batman fan, you won't get dissapointed with this one, and even if you are not a fan it is still a fun and easy to play that anyone can enjoy.

A Regular Mom: My husband and I play this game together or individually. Our 6-year-old son is starting to get into it as well. The controls are a little complex for him but he is getting the hang of it rather quickly.

When we're playing a level, sometimes we can't figure out for quite a while how to get from one scene to the next. There are little to no instructions within the game, but eventually we figure it out. It's really fun, and it's good clean fun too. When a character is shot or hit, their Legos come all apart. No blood, no gore. I really appreciate that with little kids in the house.

If you are new to the Lego game series, FYI, there is no talking in the game. When the characters "talk", it's more like mumbling and grunting. Pretty funny, actually.

We first had the Lego Star Wars game, and enjoyed it so we bought this game on Amazon. Comparatively, I think this one is a tad harder (the way out, like i mentioned before, takes a little more effort to find). Also this game is visually darker than the Star Wars game.

Over all, it's a fantastic game.
