I’m very happy with this Brita water pitcher! It’s easy to use. I did a video to show the features as I was curious how it worked myself since I had an older version years ago. It comes with one filter which has lasted me nearly 5 months & I fill it twice a week. The top can be tricky to get into place. As my video shows you have to wait for the click to know it’s attached properly. It does pour slowly but I’m patient as I know I’ll be getting a glass of awesome tasting water! I have well water & this filters it purely. The taste is phenomenal! This tastes better than bottled water & I’m eliminating the plastic bottle I’d have to return to the my store. You can buy a 3 pack of filters on Amazon to have on hand when the filter depletes it’s purpose. This was well worth what I paid. I so enjoy the glass of water I drink now. Love this Brita pitcher! Just be aware of the size as it does hold 10 cups of water so you want to be sure it will fit in your refrigerator. Highly recommend! True quality.

SpringShine: I know it sounds crazy but I drink about 6 to 9 gallons of water a day so this really comes in handy for me.
I have a disability that makes standing for long periods of time difficult. That is why I love how quickly/easily I can feel this and then carry back to my bedside table.
It holds a lot of water and is easy to pour. When the filter begins getting low, I noticed that it pours slightly slower but it's not a big issue.
The ability to take it apart and clean it is good. However, it seems to get water spots on it very easily. Perhaps it's my tap water creating the issue but the plastic never stays nice and clear for long.
This is the second one I've owned and it's my favorite Brita product. The filters are pretty easy to change and my water always tastes nice and clean.

Amazon Customer: I was looking for a water filter that would not require a ton of filter changes and would be easy to use. This water pitcher was perfect for me! Being able to pour out the water immediately after filling was great. There were no long waits for the water to filter before being able to pour a glass of water or fill my pet's water dish. Yes, it pours a little slower, but not to a bothersome degree. The filtered water tastes great. Most importantly, I use it quite a bit and still have not had to change the filter. I imagine if you have a large family, you might have to change it more often, but for one or two people, one filter has lasted about a month and a half so far. Compared to filters I've used in the past, that is a pretty good rate. I would definitely recommend this pitcher!

Kim: I am very happy with this product overall. It is slow pouring, but this is a minor inconvenience. It is well sealed to prevent leaks and easy to disassemble and clean. I purchased two in February 2021. For reasons I don't fully understand, one of the pitchers sort of exploded. I don't mean flying chards of resin or anything dangerous. It just made a popping noise and suddenly there was water streaming out onto counter. So I give it 5 stars for flavour and ease of use and one for longevity.

AK: This is the 2nd Brita water filter pitcher (jug) I've bought. It's not that the 1st one didn't work, because it did! It's because I (stupidly?) thought that filtering water in a Brita meant that the pitcher didn't have to be washed. And mould developed inside, and I didn't want to take the chance that I might not be able to clean off all of it!
The previous Brita had been a traditional one. It was a slim 6-cup jug that fit into the side door of the fridge. However, because the filter reservoir was so huge, you had to fill with water and then WAIT while the water filtered through. If you got impatient and didn't wait for it to filter completely, water would leak over the countertop.
This Brita is SO EASY to use! It actually takes up only slightly more room in the fridge than the previous smaller Brita I owned. When you open the "hatch" to the jug, you pour the water directly into the pitcher, snap shut the top, and can pour immediately! Because the water is filtered as you pour--that's why it's called "Brita Stream"--the water pours a TINY bit slower than the traditional Brita. After a few times, I don't even notice how "slow" it is.
I have only 2 small...

Lumumba K. Shakur: When I first bought this, I regretted buying it. I didn't want to admit to my wife that it was annoying, but the thing poured so slow that it mostly took away from the convenience it was supposed to solve. We have an extra larger Brita filter that we had to put on the counter because it was took heavy for our fridge and the shelf was breaking. So I bought this smaller, quicker filter to be able to put in the door of the fridge and have water that I didn't need to wait 20 minutes to filter through. But the first 2 months I used it, it poured so slow that it didn't seem worth it anymore. To make matters worse, there is A LOT of dirt in our water, so much that you can taste it when you drink it straight from the tap, and I am pretty sure that over time, the dirt clogs all of our filters and makes them run even slower. So by the time the original filter needed to be changed, pouring a cup of water was a very frustrating task. That is until I bought the first replacement filter. I don't know if Brita improved the filter since first designing it, but the replacement filters that I purchased pour about twice as fast as the original filter that came with the pitcher. So much so that I...

Dave: I see a lot of reviews where people are complaining about the flow speed. While the flow speed on this pitcher is slower than a normal pour, it certainly is not a problem. If you have the pitcher at least 25% full then the pressure pushes the water out at a decent flow rate. For filter pitchers you have to choose between filter as you fill or filter as you pour. We used a Brita Standard pitcher (filter as you fill) for about a year before we switched to this one and we could not be happier. Here are the problems we had with the Standard pitcher:
1. You had to wait to pour until the whole batch of water was filtered. For a full one this could take almost 5 minutes. This doesn't sound like a big deal, but believe me, it was a pain in the butt.
2. It had a flip top for refill that constantly would fall off when pouring or refilling. Looks like a newer design came out and this is fixed.
3. The pour spout would pour water all over the place when tipped too far. The spout seems to be the same shape on the new design so I would think that it still does this.
Bottom line is that this "filter as you pour" type is less of an annoyance to use than the "filter as you fill"...

Mack Johnson: I used this for a year or so. The plastic that held the lid eventually cracked and the pitcher became unusable. On the whole I was happy with it, but there were some negatives. First, even when the pitcher is full, it is a little slow to pour the water, because it is filtered as you pour. Fill it too high, and you may even have some water that bypasses the filter...but you don't mind, because at least it is fast. Then there is the filter warning light...don't think that ever worked...but I think Brita has changed the design since. Other than breaking it and it being slow, it was pretty useful. You do need to replace the filters...but if cost is an issue there are sales once in a while.
