veronica a marshall: Great lamp at a great price. It was well packaged and very easy to assemble. Amazing that it could all fit, including the shade assembly, in such a small box. We plugged it into an outlet that runs off of a light switch by a door...so it's easy on and off with that switch. Also, really like the option of the foot switch. Had originally purchQsed it from Wal-Mart online but cancelled that order as AMAZON beat the price, tax included, by $23.00. LOVES my AMAZON PRIME!

Amazon Customer: Fastest that ANYTHING has ever been delivered!! This lamp was super easy to assemble, it took 5 minutes. I was apprehensive when I saw the box it came in, because there was no lampshade fitting in there! It comes rolled up, and it has clips to attach to bottom and top rings. Voila! You have a lamp shade!! It looks very nice, but I have not yet used it in the dark. If it isn't quite bright enough, may order another.

mememe61: Let me start out by saying that I would have given this item 5 stars, except for two minor problems that I will describe below.
I purchased this floor lamp for my living room. With the number of electronics on my end table multiplying like rabbits, I decided to retire my table lamp to make a bit of room. The lamp came well packaged and was easy to assemble. One of the connectors was screwed in off kilter from the factory, but I was able to remove and reseat it with the help of a needlenose pliers and a bit of WD-40 (problem 1). Still, assembly took less than 15 minutes. The shade is sturdy and attractive - much nicer than the floor lamp for my computer desk that I had gotten at Walmart for a similar price, and the metal composition of the standpole was quite a bit thicker.
Pleased with my purchase, I decided to retire the lamp from the nightstand in my bedroom. This one only took about 5 minutes to assemble, as the connectors were seated properly. One problem with this lamp - the shade frame is ever so slightly lopsided (problem 2). It's not terribly noticeable, but a bit annoying to me when I look at it straight on.
