Heather: Happy with my purchase. I cozied it behind my couch as a reading light and it does a great job of lighting up my books. I cannot comment on how well it would stand on its own, but I can comment I was able to put the base in a very small/odd space between cabinet and back of couch with no problem. I also like the adjustable head and it is light weight enough if I ever need to move ir for crafting.

Karan Gerber: I ordered the light as i needed to add more light to my craft table when i do Facebook Lives or record videos. There was no remote with my lamp. Maybe in my model it doesn't? It has a heavy base making it very sturdy, does not take up a lot of room on my desk, but its wonderful to add light during my live or recorded videos, Great price and very good quality.

KaileeKailee: The media could not be loaded. Straightforward, easy to assemble. Colour of the "white" lamp itself is more like a light gray. Brightness of the lamp is just as expected, varying between bright/soft/warm and dimmable for each level. Not as bright as a daylight lamp but definitely bright and much much cheaper than a daylight lamp. Shorter than most floor lamps, but this works great for shining directly at your workspace or desk or craft area, instead of towards the roof. I have a very dark corner needing to get brightened up and this is easily maneuvered for optimal placement. First photo is lamp on the brightest white setting, second photo is the lamp off.

Renovationman26: This lamp was delivered a week early, which impressed me and so did the lamp which I needed for my new downsized quarters in a seniors’ residence. It goes together quite quickly and the hardest part was threading the wires down each tube before screwing in the next one. I use this light for my portable art table and then swivel it around for my recliner reading lamp. A nice bright white light, but I find the switch irritating although I can live with it. A simple on/off switch would have been preferable to this temperamental sometimes on and sometimes off switch. You never quite know how many times to push the button to get what you want. That said, this is an ideal lamp at a competitive price.
