Brew the Perfect Cup of Coffee with the Braun MultiServe KF9150WH Coffee Machine

Lanny Finfer: This is the best coffee maker I have ever used. It just has 1 design flaw. The clean button is very close, too close to the power button. If you inadvertently touch the clean button instead of the power button the clean process will start and it cannot be canceled. The clean button should be located away from any other buttons if it cannot be canceled, or at least have the option to cancel if you accidentally touch the button. The buttons are VERY touch sensitive. A very light touch is all it takes. I bought a KitchenAid grinder to go along with the maker, and the quality and taste is as good or better than any coffee house I have gone to. Even with that 1 flaw this is a 5 star machine

Kelly: Made it to the first cleaning cycle and decided to write a review. It's been about 5 months and this machine makes good coffee, yes the drip stop isn't perfect, yes it doesn't make exactly 10 cups of coffee, otherwise I haven't had the issues others mention in their reviews. I brew using paper filters for cleaning ease and have had no clogging or overflow issues. Two things prevent this machine from being 5 star: on the clock display one of the lines that make the numbers doesn't work anymore. When it shows a 6 it looks like a 5. So issues with the display. Lastly the designers should add a wheel option to the bottom so you can easily slide this out from under cabinets on the counter top. My cabinets are so low that I can't refill the water when it is tucked back, it's an awkward drag out every morning. Easy to clean, descale and replace the water filter. I appreciate the filtered water and the hot water option is so convenient. The timer option is pretty fantastic when you want to come downstairs in the morning to already brewed coffee, and i tried the cold brew option once and it worked perfectly. Doug HughesDoug Hughes: We purchased this Braun brew station in January of 2022. It supposedly came with a three year replacement warranty. Read your fine print folks. The coffee maker began coding E21 and after several attempts and FAQs, it has quit brewing altogether. I contacted Braun/Delonghi 4 consecutive times in one week before they returned a response to my query. Now because my 250 dollar brew station is more than 6 months into its 3 year warranty, they will only replace my faulty unit with a"" used"", ""returned"", ""refurbished"" unit in the wrong color, I paid a premium for black and stainless. The first bought at Canadian tire, did not work right out of the box. Returned and opted to purchase through amazon as the warranty was 3 instead of two years. First one was lost by courier, second arrived damaged and Amazon replaced it right away. This being the one that failed. A few things, the water temp control does not work with the coffee water. The coffee is often luke warm rather than hot after brewing. You cannot pause the drip to get a fresh cup as this will disable the heater from keeping your pot warm and you cannot turn the heat back on without making another full or...

Donna Harrison: Have owned Braun products for years. Always dependable and a great value. Sorry, this coffee maker is an absolute disappointment. I have tried everything to make a carafe of coffee..different strength, different grind, paper filter, no paper filter, different strength….everything I can think of. Using a paper filter for full carafe with supermarket grind using 7 scoops on bold…over flowed. Clean everything, including outlet to the water flow. Tried gold basket, 6 scoops supermarket grind….same thing. Tried less coffee, standard brew, and it was terribly weak but didn’t over flow. Tried half carafe, bold setting and 6 scoops it made a little more than 5 cups of weak coffee. An awful experience. Overflow grinds are difficult to clean, even after running the whole machine through a clean cycle. Single serve cups…weak. Don’t buy this coffee maker. Going to buy another Ninja that lasted 3 years, with great coffee, or the Hamilton Beach that has multi use in addition to pods, all in one coffee maker.
Update: We are now in June. The coffee maker is still giving me fits. Tired of coffee grounds over flowing and the clean up. Was so hoping the problems...

ovalhed: I purchased this item as a "damaged, but still working item" from Amazon.

I'm not sure what the "damage " was supposed to be, since the item was in perfect shape, never used, and no scratches. Reduced price lowered the price to what I think the price point should be in the retail market when comparing this model to other brands. Strictly my opinion and I'm no marketing expert or price level analytic reviewer, either.

Since January 2020 when I purchased this coffeemaker, I've noticed few things about it different than how described in its manual.

First, no matter how much water above the line of 10 cup marking in the water feed container, the machine brews 9 cups as marked on the coffee carafe. That seems a bit odd to me, however, having used all 3 variations of brewing (light, gold, bold) to see if it was a particular brew strength that limited the amount, I consistently ended up with 9 cups in the carafe.

10 cupCOMMENTS: I finally figured out why only 9 cups in carafe: the machine only brews a maximum of 9 cups regardless of how much water is in the clear water container. To get 10 cups,leave water container on machine, I fill coffee...
