Daniel Booth: This was gifted to my mom for mothers day but if we are being honest it's the families. It's much easier to clean than it seems and very easy to use. It has a setting for hard or soft foods and it definitely helps me get my fruits and vegetables in. Out of all the juicers I have looked at this one is definitely worth the money.

Jeslyn Muñoz: It does an excellent job at juicing, but you almost need pipe cleaners or a small toothbrush to get all the nooks and crannies clean. It comes with brushes, but they’re only good for the grinder/mesh part of the machine.

Michael Porter: I just juiced over 300lbs of apples in a couple of hours. Other than cleaning out the expelled apple bucket and the spinner needing to be cleaned out a bunch, it was quick and painless. It didn't overheat and only slowed down when I needed to clean it out.

If you are doing that many apples, I recommend using a hose and 5gal buckets instead of the juice holder that comes with it.

aboutmari: I waited a few months before I reviewed because I wanted to test for a length of time before I shared my opinion.
Overall a fantastic product, but if you plan on using soft fruits and or veggies...this is NOT the machine to use.
The liquids spill on the side and center total mess to clean up. Most of the SOFTER fruits and veggies go to waste because they don't even break down for juicing.

It's amazing for the harder types like carrots, celery, pineapples, and apples.

I didn't purchase the bags for the waste but CONSIDER them with purchase because will save you lots of time on the cleanup and less mess.
I am purchasing some soon.

Do’: It does an excellent job on carrots and hard veggies. I understood it was good for juicing soft fruits, I consider berries a soft fruit but it did a terrible job on raspberries. I feel there is a definite flaw in the design of this product if it is meant to juice berries. It is a well made, sturdy device but did not do what we purchased it to do. Very disappointed and returned merchandise.

If you are new to juicing, there are two main types and the one you choose depends on what you plan to juice. This is a centrifugal juicer. A sloped mesh basket with cutting tips spin very quickly and cut "scrape" against fruits and vegetables to produce juice. These types of juicers work best with non-leafy vegetables and fruit. They very quickly extract juice from carrots, celery, apples and eject the pulp out into a basket. I don't use this for citrus like orange, grapefruit, or lemons because it takes too much effort to remove their peel. For citrus you are better off using a citrus juicer.

If you are planning to juice wheat grass, kale, or other leafy vegetables. This is not the juicer for you. You will need a masticating juicer which twist and crushes the vegetables. These type of juicers are sometimes referred to as cold press and they are much slower. They also do not work well with hard vegetables like carrots.

I juice carrot, apple and celery. Sometimes I'll add beets or cucumbers and this Breville juicer does an excellent job. The juicer is very quick...
