Breville 800JEXL Centrifugal Juicer: Maximum Juice Extraction for Elite Performance

Dolores Duenez: I purchased this Juicer so that I could make health juices for my husband who is in poor health and for my granddaughter who has stomach issues. The juicer is heavy duty, easy to use , and very stable. I make juice for them 10 bottles at a time 3 times a week. I make green juice, carrot juice and beet juices. We all drink them and we are feeling so much better.

Amanjot: I generally juice every day, 2-3 glasses. This juicer has worked well for me. You MUST get a stainless dish scrubber for cleaning the filter basket. The brush included is good for the teeth on the bottom but not sufficient for keeping the little holes in the basket clean from the natural mineral deposits that will build up from the produce.

If you wash the parts by hand after each use and use a metal scrubbie on the filter basket, it will work well for a long time even with heavy use.

C_: This is a well built machine. It produces Juice as fast or faster than most for the price. If you are looking for speed and juicing before work, this is the unit for you. If you are wanting to maximize your nutrition, based upon the experts, look into purchasing a slow juicer. Consider whether you are juicing veggies most of the time or fruits most of the time. Another consideration is, whether or not cleanup is an issue. There's a variety of machines out there that work great. They all have caveats, and doing a little research on which one that will serve your needs best, will save you the heartache of buying the wrong one.

Salvador Aguilera: Estuve comprando jugos por años en diferentes lugares y muy pobre valor nutrimental, porque salían muy desabridos y después de un rato el jugo quedaba arriba y el agua abajo porque se separaba el jugo del líquido y sabían horribles, ahora con este excelente extractor el jugo queda bien integrado y los sabores exquisitos, he hecho jugos verdes y jugos de zanahoria, la verdad es que estoy muy feliz con la compra que hice de este extractor de jugos, sinceramente la recomiendo, estoy seguro que hice una excelente compra!!!

Sherry: I am a daily veg and fruit juicer. I follow Joe Cross's Fat Sick and Nearly Dead reboot lifestyle and am doing very well. Lost 35 lbs in 40 days and am now on my second reboot to lose the rest. My first juicer was a Jack Lalanne and it couldn't hold up to the 5 times a day juicing I was putting it through.I returned it. My first Breville juicer the JE98XL I bought at Home Outfitters for approx $200 , and it served me well for a few months, but the blade got dull fast, and the claim that whole apples etc could be put through only applied to the first couple months of use. After that the machine started jumping around the counter and making a racket. I tried setting it on a tea towel and holding it down which worked here and there for awhile, but the issues became annoying. The cheaper juicer also leaked and spit out green juice all around my kitchen counter quite frequently. Chopping the veg and fruit small first became the norm.

I purchased the Breville Juice Fountain Elite 800JEXL here at Amazon to avoid these frustrating problems. I reasoned that putting out over $300 for a better Breville is something that was well deserved.

Dr. Rob: So, we've had the 800JEXL for three weeks and these are my findings.

Appearance- Beautiful in design and form. Proud to display it on our counter. It is a bit tall but does fit beneath my cabinets. Without the top food pusher inserted, it's 15.75", with it inserted, it's 16.75". But it has a very large footprint so you'll have to clear off some space. We just fit it without having to put our Oster blender somewhere else.

Plug- Has a finger hole to pull it out. Very inventive and easy to get out of the wall even with wet hands.

Collection Jugs- The fluid bin is plenty big to hold enough for about four six glasses of liquid. With the pulp ejection bin being so large, you can feed a LOT of stuff in before either the pulp or juice containers get filled. I haven't even come close on either account.

Leaks- When put together properly, there is no splattering or leaks at all. I can only imagine people are not putting the two collection containers into place properly. They kind of "click" when inserted properly. Honestly, not a DRIP ends up on the counter unless I spill it there.
