The juicer also features an integrated froth separator, so you can enjoy more juice and less foam with each pour. With its high build quality and easy-to-use design, the Breville BJE200XL Juice Fountain Compact is one of the best Centrifugal Juicers on the market. Visit the Breville Store to get yours today! Charles V.: This is a great juicer with power and is easy to clan with 7 parts. But I hve two issues which have to do with it making a mess.
1. The food shoots out of the chute when it is open, which is when you are inserting the food...putting your hand over the chute is the best bet to keep a mess to a minimum.
2. The lid on the dispenser falls off when pouring. Solution - make a twist top that won't fall out.
I have also purchased a $49 masticating juicer attachment for my KitchenAid and will compare it with this juicer. This centrifugal juicer is fast, which is a plus..I juiced four oz of carrot juice and put the pulp through the kitchen aid and got another ounce...worth it, I guess it's up to you to decide. The result is a little more to clean for a little more juice. For hard items the Breville juicer is best as the strong motor really cuts up the food.

Dutzy: Good quality, but because removes the skin and part of the fruits .. you need to use a big quantity of fruits. Also, it is on the noisier side.

Team AwesomenessTeam Awesomeness: I just got this going and it's been 2 days and 4 juices and I've decided to return it. I will get another Breville but the Fountain Plus. I've decided there's nothing you can do about the cleaning of the blade/sieve dealy because of the fine mesh, any juicer will be a bit annoying to clean. Just so you know, it is not a simple rinse. YOu either have to give it a good scrub and SEVERAL minutes of rinsing in reverse of the juice flow. I don't know about the dishwasher. I have not used it in the dishwasher because 1. I wanted to know for sure if I was keeping it, in case the dishwasher wasn't kind to it. 2. I have tried putting regular sieves in the dishwasher and it just ends up trapping particulate matter floating around the washer so I can't imagine the situation would improve with an even finer sieve in the mix.
The reason I am returning this is several fold.
1. does not grind everything. Instead of the food being spit out a single chute on the side, the ground up food spits up all around the juice blade in a donut formation around it. The big fat belly in the photo is the catchment. Several smaller pieces of food have bounced up off the blade directly into the...

Ron: I had a Breville Juice Fountain Elite for years, and unfortunately don't have it anymore and couldn't afford to replace it. However, I could afford this one, and having missed juicing, I picked it up. Love it! It's not the Elite, but it's 1/3 the price of the Elite and just as effective. It does have a slight learning curve to it if you're not used to juicing, or if you've used other juicers. But, it's not difficult by any stretch of the imagination. if you're making more than 2 quarts of juice, you are going to have to stop at some point and empty out the pulp. That's easy, it's no big deal. If you're making something like OJ where there's not going to be a lot of pulp, I imagine you can make a lot more. I mainly juice pulpy things like apples, carrots, and beets. Highly recommended!! Seriously, look at how many 5 Star reviews there are here, you'll likely love this juicer.
I want to address some things I've read in other reviews here:
1. Regardless of what your problem is, either you're doing something wrong or you have a defective machine. The machine is so simple, chances are you're doing it wrong.
2. If you have wet pulp, cut your produce up. Sure, the mouth...

R. W. Pochciol: The media could not be loaded. Update Aug 2014 - Thanks for all the questions and comments on my review over the years! Yes, I am still using the original juicer! No, this is not a paid endorsement. I have not been contacted by Breville or offered any compensation. When you find a product that is built well, works well and helps you get well...it's worth writing about it! Keep reading...
Update Oct 2013 - I'm so glad I bought this juicer! Still using all the original parts, nothing is broken. I've kept the mesh filter basket clean and it works great, but it is puckering at the top edge of the basket, between the spots where it's welded to the basket frame. It doesn't seem to affect the performance of the juicer, but it requires more diligent cleaning.
I have a new tip today about juicing spinach leaves. Stack spinach leaves about 2-3" tall and place on a large kale leaf. Wrap the kale leaf around the spinach and stuff into the feed chute. Slowly push the kale/spinach "package" down the chute. Small spinach leaves won't fly out the food chute or end up whole in the pulp collection bin. This works great with collard greens too!
Update Apr 2013 - Still juicing!...

Ron Bazar: Works great. Cleaning the juicing screen well is important and takes a few minutes, the rest is a snap.
