Stefan Reck: Sehr guter Tacker! !!! Hab schon einige günstige Tacker gekauft die nach 4 Wochen im Eimer waren. Wenn man im Trockenbau arbeitet ist der Bostitch Hammer Tacker der beste.

Mr. Geweke: Bought this for some DIY projects and this does a fine job of stapling craft paper, asphalt paper, plastic sheeting to walls or sheathing.
I noticed that you really must give it a strike like a hammer hit if you wish to seat the staples flush. If you just tap it lightly, the staples will stand proud of the material. So do not be shy, drive that staple into the wood, do not just slap it.

T. Shultz: I revised this to 5 stars. Key reason is the holster. Really convenient when you are on a ladder. Still hard to get staples though. I put up a 24 x 36, 3-car, two-story garage this summer - me and a crew of 4 hispanic folks doing the house wrap and felt. Had two of these and an Arrow slapper. These were easier to load when on a ladder, and the HOLSTER is simply a must. Very light tool. The only bad thing is that I started to run out of Bostich staples and could not find more in town, which led me to buy the Arrow. The Arrow was good in that if you occasionally didn't drive the staple in all the way, you could flip the head around and use it as a real hammer. However, the lack of a holster and the difficulty of reloading while balanced high on a ladder meant that the Bostich was much more useful.
