Sara: What do I use this product for? I cook it with rice and spices and make an meal for 6 or 8 hungry people without breaking the bank. Or I make six/eight meals worth of soup.
Why do I continue to cook with BRM products? Because I know that the grains and legumes I purchased have not been stored long term in a warehouse. They look, smell and feel fresh.

TexasToast: I love the Bob's brand, first off. All of my grains and non-grain "grains" come from Bob's because I know they get it right. With something like pre-rinsed quinoa, I'll always know Bob has done the job!
These lentils were my first red lentil experience. I used them to throw together a chicken dish. They, of course, don't stay red once cooked but that's ok. Mild flavor that would play well with almost anything, I think. Not a long cooking time, either. Remember - these aren't going to have the same firm consistency as green or brown lentils when cooked. They DO break down, so be mindful of that when you buy em!
I'm sold on red lentils and I'm sticking with Bob's.
