BF: When you manually edge - you have to dig down then dig across. This eliminates the dig down part but still requires some grunt and effort to extract the grass trimmings

End result tho is a nice straight line and looks great on the property.

Appears to be for home use only - handle pole is kinda weak thus cant imagine it would hold up to commercial or heavy use - but again its inexpensive overall.

Beanie: Works very well. However, it is a good thing I already have a 50 foot extension cord. Online description should include info re the length of the cord.

Brian Chidester: I have a 1 acre lot with lots of curbing. This is great for the cost. If I would’ve bought a battery powered one, it would take me days of recharging a battery to do all of the edging. Even though the cord can be a small hassle, it provides constant full power without dying, or getting weak. Totally worth it for the cost in my opinion.

Amanda CharetteAmanda Charette: This was missing some butterfly bolts. We ended up having to buy replacements at our local hardware store. The machine itself works really well. It does vibrate so if you have tendinitis in your arms like me, you’ll be sore after a while (like using a whipper snipper). It does a great job though. Hubby and I take turns to get the job done. We have a lot of edging to do in the yard.

Darryl: I had one a long time ago and despite the cord limitation, it works as expected, is easy to handle, and does a good job. For $100.xx, can't go wrong for my needs.
