Olena Sokolova: My aquarium is 24" but this light did not fit and I could not place it on my aquarium. What was even worse this light is not water proof, meaning the connections will be corroded very soon.
I got Satellite Freshwater Led + by Current (USA made) and it is a great product so far

CassieCassie: This is the best light I've ever had in this price range. It's a great light that is cheap and lasts a long time. It even grows plants very well. I currently am growing 3 different plants in my aquarium of different lighting level requirements and this light has been growing them well for months. This is actually the second light I bought from this company. I liked it so much I bought a second one for a breeder tank I have. Sturdy construction very bright and also low profile so all the focus is on the tank. I also have a youtube video on the light if you go to married with fish on youtube.

caroline mccutcheon: I also have the older Beamsworks 3w LED on my tank that is the primary light source which is awesome full spectrum this one is a color supplemental light at best, just puts out enough output to add some color to the fish, in no way adequate for a primary light or plant growth. On that note however this thing has a really good spectrum for bringing out red and orange in fish.
Negative side (or a positive depending on how you look at it) it looks like something heavy bent it slightly in shipping (the box was more than adequately packed but crushed badly), so it has a slight rainbow arc to it and does not sit flush atop the tank, However with the damage to the box I'm amazed it turned on holding up to the abuse, and its working great despite the viable damage from shipping.

Kayti Quillen: I was using some very subpar lighting for a low-light planted aquarium of anubias, wendtii java fern and various crypts. I undated to this lighting and no matter what I did, algae grew like wildfire. I realize now it was just too much light for the plants I was using, but I imagine if I had redone it with medium to high-light loving plants, it likely would have prospered. I have owned it for well over a year and it is still as bright as the day it came out of the box. Marvelous, low-profile design, though the "night light" seemed too bright to me. My one wish for this product would be that it have a built-in fade to turning on and off like some other LED tank lights I've owned. It seems less stressful on the fish to have the light increase and decrease gradually on and off. Minor detail. Otherwise, I loved this product.

AlexanderSJ: The light works very well, and the moonlight effect is very pleasing. I have a non-planted 20 gallon 16" deep tank (2" of gravel), and the amount of light provided and light distribution is very good. The adjustment slides hold the light on the top of the tank well enough; they slide into and out of their holding holes well and provide not-tight but not-loose securing of the light fixture.
One aspect I had not considered, though, when replacing my old fluorescent light hood with this fixture is the reflection of the individual LEDs in the surface of the water. When the tank is viewed from above or anywhere near above - as opposed to just from the front, back or sides - the LED reflection is very bright and rather unpleasant. This is more a characteristic of this type of light fixture rather than of this specific fixture. Also, there is a good deal of LED light transmission along the exposed edges of the top piece of my acrylic tank, which is apparent when viewing the tank from the front, back or sides. I have tried using various types of light fixture panel diffusers, but these LEDs are bright enough that I've had to use two to three layers of diffusers to reduce the...

MJHinXMJHinX: The media could not be loaded. So this light is A replacement for my 20 gallon Cichlid tank which the previous one had dropped into the tank and kind of died over the course of a few months so I decide to replace it. This light is a direct replacement but is an upgrade for sure. The full spectrum light is awesome for my freshwater set up. The moonlight is super bright and really brings out the colors in the tank. I have some fluorescent decorations in there for the kids and everything really pops in the tank. Beamswork does a great job on these light fixtures. Just buy it. I also have a beams work on my 55 gallon tank downstairs as well which I’ve had for I’d say about five years and I have no issues. So longevity wise I know these things hold up and the only suggestion I would make the beans work is that they make some kind of smart timer to attach to this light. I know you can add a manual or digital timer to it because it has the port on the left side but it be nice to get with the times because I could integrate this into my smart home. Like I said overall this thing is just awesome. You won’t regret it just buy it. I posted two pictures and a video check them out.
